i still can't wrap my head around katara being good at water bending

Just imagine that there was a 10 minute long training montage that encompassed countless hours of training that occurred in small sections of time between the footage we are actually shown.


Basically the idea is that she taught herself a lot of stuff from the waterbending scroll and then she worked really really hard when they got to the north water tribe to show up the chauvinistic master.

As long as you are willing to assume that a lot of off screen training occurred then it works.

And you are going to need to do that because she only gets better. (A lot better)

The best part about the Avatar universe is how it's not just earth/fire/air/waterbending. There are variations and extensions on the basic elements, like tree and sand and lightning bending, and it all brilliantly makes sense in the universe's physics. And it even gets way better.

Also Suki >>>> Yue. I don't even know why they added made Sokka go after Yue. I guess they needed the audience to form a quick emotional connection with Yue in just 2 episodes so that her death would be more dramatic.

And Azula >>> Ty Lee >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mai

I.... am gonna have to agree. SO much awesome stuff happens in there. Some S3 episodes come close though.

Also Tales of Ba Sing Sei is the best filler episode in any TV show. Iroh :(

Aang having hair is clearly season 3. I find the start of the season to be a little boring outside of Zuko's house visit. Though from the middle of it till the end is just crazy awesome.

Katara is a freaking beast by the end of Season 2. She's the best bender in the Aang/Katara vs Zuko/Azula fight in the season finale, seeing as she whups Azula and takes on them both while Aang is briefly out of commission. She only gets better in Season 3 as well.
