Board 8 > What should I name my The Old Republic Legacy?

It's basically a last name that all my characters will have. I need something suitably awesome.


My characters are named Desuka and Cly. For the weeaboos, yeah that's the desu japanese end tons of sentences with. Specifically when they are asking a question. It's pretty much a question mark. So my main is named... Question Mark.

My friend that I've been playing with goes by the handle Shadoroth, and names his alts similar things like Shadoros. His legacy is Starshatter. So it's like

Shadoroth Starshatter
Shadoros Starshatter
Shadok Starshatter

Etc.

I need something that can COMPETE.

I'm thinking, Darthslayer. Even though I'm Empire, I go out of my way to to mess up the Sith and tell them how much they suck every chance I get. I betrayed a member of the dark council and ruined his ****, and even killed a Darth at one point.


Desuka Darthslayer.


Has a nice ring to it.

It doesnt have to be a Last Name. I have all 8 of my characters with "The Toogeloo Legacy" under their names.

Darthslayer is an invalid name. What's up with that? Is Darth a banned word from that? Sithslayer doesn't work either :(

I think it fits with the Desuka name pretty will, and I just love that How I Met Your Mother joke. Is it perfect or what?

My main is Captain Mar Dashstar which is an awesome name for a Smuggler, but much less suitable for my Jedi Killia.

Don't forget that you also can get creative with the Legacy. Your characters don't have to necessarily be bloodlines, and it actually encourages you that some of your character may have had past relationships.

My Gunslinger's name is Vette and will be Legacy tied to my Juggernaut as BFFs.

You named your gunslinger the name of your Juggernauts companion? Interesting.


Is there any sort of UI for this? I haven't found any screen for choosing how to display the legacy name. And that family tree stuff, is that in game currently or is that being added in a new patch?

I ended up going with Puzzles. Hopefully they'll allow a change later on when the system is fully implemented like they it will be but the name is fine for now.

You can have marriages, children, siblings, allies, rivalries, etc...

And yeah, I named my Gunslinger Vette because of my Juggernaut. My Jug uses my main character name when I play MMOs, and the Story was my first and most amazing experience in the game so far. Vette is by far my most favorite Companion in the game too.
