A little while back, don't remember exactly when, just before my laptop died, someone linked me to a bunch of mods that made it run better on newer computers and some other s*** I don't remember, anybody know what those mods were, or what mods would make it bearable to play on my 64 bit computer?

Well I bought the game from GOG and that's the guide I used, it all worked for me.
