"Hi again, PlayStation community. Im here to bring some good news today: Amazon Instant Video is available now on PlayStation Network, making the PS3 the first and only video game console to offer the service! Head on over to the TV/Video Services category of the XMB, where you can download and install the new Amazon Instant Video app right now for free. Once you launch the app, youll have instant access to thousands of streaming and downloadable movies and TV shows for rental or purchase."
"If youre an Amazon Prime member (I am!), youll also be able to watch as many of the more than 17,000 Prime Instant Videos as you can handle, at no additional cost. If youre not yet an Amazon Prime member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial right there within the app or just sign upits $79 per year and totally worth it."
I got this message when I got on Amazon. I may try this out tomorrow. I have Amazon Prime until August I think, so that should give me plenty of time. Hell, if they once again offer me Amazon Prime for $40, I will likely bite again.
Amazon Student Prime doesn't count? What the hell, I graduated 3 years ago but I kept my student email address just so I could save half off on Amazon Prime.
Well, if you don't have Netflix and there's no ads, it would be a good deal if you shop from Amazon often.
Assuming you paid for the Prime service. Prime was free for students a few years back for a YEAR and now they have it so you get it half off for four years.
