If it makes you feel better they did explain it sort of and even the characters pretty much try to pretend it didnt happen in the next episode.

that makes it sound worse since if the characters just pretend it never happens and it has no impact on anything (plot, character development, etc) it was clearly just a pointless scene thrown in there for no reason other than fanservice

Well it has an impact. Rea couldn't remember it since when she returning to normal. After she's told about it, she kinda freaks out so Furuya tells her that they should pretend that it didn't happen, but he will certainly remember it himself since it showed him how Rea acts in that state of mind when she hasn't eaten those leaves, and is an important part of his knowledge about zombies. Definetely not pointless.

I'm not really sure, it hasn't been explained yet. If it was just the kissing Furuya part, I'd say that it was because in that condition she'd do whatever she felt like without thinking things through. Though I'm not the same goes for licking Ranko's breasts, who knows. Fanservice is without doubt involved. Either way, I just wanted to make it clear that the scene is not pointless.

Ok go ahead and be ass hats, but these Zombies clearly work differently and aren't meant to be your classical zombies or even your 28 days later zombies.

I don't see anyone freaking out because the Zombie in Kore-wa Zombie Desuka is completely intelligent and normal most of the time. The only reason this is an issue is because zea is uncomfortable with boobs like a literal child.

EDIT: In fact, there was even a scene in the most recent episode where Furuya commented that this didnt work like the movies or how he thought and that he was surprised.

I wish more people here were watching Upotte!. The slice of life atmosphere is pretty nice but it manages to have lots of fun stuff about gunz too. Plus the ED is great. <3

Short thoughts of this weeks episodes of what I watch:

Fairy Tail:
So finally we get into the mainplot of this filler for real, that should ake it decent enough. Also the fact that it's the Earthland versions of character from Edolas that are the villains. Could be good.

Hyouka:
No confession dammit! Haha. This is still pretty good stuff. Oreki is good at figuring stuff out, and that's what meakes it interesting.

Kuroko no Basket:
Remind me to bring Kuroko if I need to buy something and the line is huge. He could sneak past it without anyone noticing. Seems like we'll get an amazing game again. They've trained to beat this guy, so it should be an amazing match.

Medaka Box:
This might have been the best episode yet (I'm not talking about swimsuits or girl kissing here), which was needed, since it has been a bit dull. It was fun to watch these sport events. Medaka says some crazy things, but they're quite interesting.

One Piece:
I'M IN LUV WITH YOU. I SUSPECT. MARRY ME. VANDER DECKEN. He's so awesome. Luffy falling asleep was great too. Overall a pretty good emotional episode, but sad that the flashback is over. Hopefulyy the anime can make the fighting worth more.

Pokemon: Best Wishes! (dub):
Oh yes, finally a gym episode, that's awesome. I wish that they wouldn't feel the need to explain that electricity is bad against ground all the time after 700+ episodes, but this was actually a good episode. For once Ash showed us that he has experience. Rarely seen Pokemon got spotlight and was the center of the episode. Also the evolving has incredible animation.

Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden:
Hillarious as usual. Best part was the stuff they all had to find, but it was pretty funny the whole way through.

Sankarea:
This was great as always. Not really surprising anymore. This series should go on fr quite a while. It has enough stuff for it to be able to.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia:
This weeks episode was especially good actually. Very enjoyable, as we get into Kiries personality, showing that she has low self-confidence, but throughout that episode that gets better and better, and then she could touch Yuuko. Awesome!

Zetman:
Why am I no dropping this really? It's not that bad. but it bores me. I was full of energy before watching, and afterwards I felt need of a nap.

Well, if it makes you people feel any better, I probably was going to drop Sankarea anyway. I think it's been trending down since the first two episodes and that was just the straw (well more than a straw) that broke the camel's back.

I still need to watch Dusk Maiden 5 but I might drop that too, depending on how that is.

Also, I fell behind on Jormungand and only just watched 4 but it is badass.

I know, but I'm saying since i never expected it to be typical or serious from the start the "out of place" ecchi content doesn't seem out of place to me. I went into the show expecting a silly rom/com starring a guy with a zombie fetish and not a guy/girl in love with a rotted disease spreading eating machine.

Time for Week 6 Rankings

Not a lot of movement at the top. You'll notice Acchi Kocchi has dropped out of favorites and tiered down. But is still relatively safe from being leapfrogged. The show just really didn't do anything great this episode. Meanwhile Kids on the Slope is great, but it almost seems like things get a little bit too tense.

Haiyore had the Delorean (back to the future) and zombie had a terminator joke. Space Bros is terrific.

The two sports shows (Knight in the Area and Kuroko no Basket) have both become fun watches. Almost everything about Knight in the Area is better though. The characters are more engaging, the conflicts seem bigger, and the tension seems higher.

AO and Mysterious GirlfriendX have been falling pretty consistently through the rankings. AO is just moving painfully slow. GFX hasn't really done anything great recently either.

Fate/Zero has had a string of really good episodes in a row... where we got... character history and stuff. I'm glad they know how much more I care now that I know why Kiritsugu Emiya is such a jerk.

Sengoku Collection is put into integrity. But is probably not going to be dropped...ever.

And as for dropped. Sankrea was dropped, and will be the last one of the season (not counting AKB0048...)
For why I dropped it. It was at the bottom of my rankings for quite a long time. Really the only reason I kept watching is because I want to see the guy ride the giant cat (like in the OP). That would be awesome. If this happens tell me. But I really think the show started going downhill after episode 2. It was actually almost a first episode drop, but the 2nd one saved it.

Yeah, Hyouka has been incredible the last few episodes. On paper, it doesn't sound very interesting but there's just something about it. Most of the time, the characters are just solving mysteries, a lot of time just sitting around talking about them. None of the mysteries have been particularly enthralling so far but the atmosphere is amazing and you can tell they're going to discover SOMETHING huge at some point, probably sooner rather than later, but I just have no idea what it will be.

Yeah, I know, not any super great stuff, and at the same time amazing.

The light novel is an adventure / mystery / school according to MAL btw, no slice of life, I believe the anime is basically the same.

I kinda figured you would. Its funny, just as I thought it finally got good, you trended the other way on it.
