Another Was good at building tension, but something stupid usually happened once it was through. Would've been a 10/10 show had all the deaths been coincidental.
Anyway, first impression time since they aren't worthy of ANN links or bolding:
Naruto SD- First half was meh, second half was pretty funny. Zetman- Badass Kuro Majo-san ga Tooru!!- This was awesome. Especially when the teacher bullies some fatass.

I sold my sig for gas money. SuperNiceDog just kicked my ass.
Lupin the Third: A Woman Called Fujiko Mine, hell yes, first episode hit last night, looks very groovy. Though I'm waiting on the subs which I hear are hitting soon.

Speaking of Crunchyroll, I'm gonna try the trial for early Fate/Zero (probably this Saturday, though maybe not if I'm too busy with Easter stuff...). Hope it works well.

Mac Arrowny posted... is this going to be less boring than the movie
Not sure what you mean, there are many Lupin III movies and they're usually pretty groovy. Which movie did ya see? If it helps, this show has lots of female nudity folks. And a jazzy soundtrack. And it's about criminals.
Lupin III (and Fujiko) is where its at.

I saw the Miyazaki movie. Felt really plain to me. Nothing original, nothing remarkable. Might've been better if Lupin were more of an actual criminal.
Well needless to say I disagree, that movie is dynamite, but this is a very different style of Lupin, more like his manga roots and bits of the first series. It's certainly naughtier than Miyazaki's take, though Lupin is always groovy I must add.

I'd watch the new Lupin show if I'd seen anything else from the series. I know it's probably easy to understand for new viewers but that's not my preferred way to jump into a series.
As for jumping into it, it's a "reboot" you could say, not that continuity was ever the series's thing anyway. If it's Lupin, watch, ha and this is worth a watch.

Alright, maybe I will check out the new Lupin then. Mainly since you described it as "groovy"
Also, just watched Zetman and Medaka Box, both of which I didn't really plan on watching but I enjoyed both of them. I could tell Zetman was rushed but hopefully they'll get the pacing straight. They probably just wanted to get through the backstory in one episode.
Medaka Box was kind of weird and I think you have to go into it with the right mindset to like it. It's pretty ridiculous and is probably going to get more so but as long as it has the main characters being experts at everything and everyone making face turns for no reason, it should be enjoyable.
just saw the first episode of something was out that I didn't recognize. went to look up the summary
"Sengoku Collection revolves around many samurai who are accidentally removed from a parallel universe inhabited by well-known historic characters. Unlike the historical war period known to us, all inhabitants in this unique world look like high school girls. Coming from the medieval era and finding themselves totally amazed by everything they encounter in modern day Tokyo, the girls become best friends through their adventures."

does anyone else think this sounds amazingly awful
augh literally has a male protagonist change that to worst series ever
Looks like there won't be too much for all-female series this season...There's Saki and Natsuiro Kiseki, but both of those have plots. Is Shiba Inuko really all I get...?
Speaking of which, I watched it. Literally a 60 second episode augh why would you do this.

You're the type that *********** to the girl you like, right?
Wow, Lupin was awesome. So much style. Lupin seems like a badass character and Fujiko was pretty cool too. How similar is this to the rest of the series?

If you dig that you'll probably also love the first Lupin series from 1971, the green jacket one, which hits DVD in the states soon too.
Also there are a lot of movies and specials you might dig, those go for a lot more slapstick humor and whatnot, they vary a lot in tone. Some are more outright comedy, etc.
But hey, I dig all the various Lupin flavors, maybe you will, I've reviewed a bunch of 'em:

If it wasn't for that dreadful Yugi arc in the middle I would have liked that show!
I didn't think that arc was so bad, although it didn't end with Fourth and Yugibro bro hugging or even bro fisting, so there was that against it. At least in the end they beat the **** out of each other as friends instead of enemies.
