and yeah, the canucks were diving all game, and the refs did a pretty good job of not buying into it, even though the Kings had a ton more PP chances and some makeup calls were certainly due...

Also, you know who's absolutely thrilled about the Weber situation? Gary Bettman. Because now all the post-game chatter in that series is about Weber, rather than the real main story of that game, which was how god-awful and entertainment-destroying his officials were.

Kesler throwing his stick really makes that a special play. just needed a Mike Ribeiro style glove toss/ice-writhe. speaking of Ribeiro I really think they need to start fining guys for faking high sticks - a lot of dives you can't PROVE but when a guy snaps his head back because he got hit in the elbow... really need that Euro soccer stuff out of here.

Refs are being pretty "meh" this game btw. Not going to say 'biased' just very...particular in some of their calls. I understand you catch catch everything, especially in such frantic moments though so I'll withhold judgement so far.
