This ex was my first, from Senior year of high school. I never had sex with her. She has only had sex with one guy just as I have only had sex with one girl so far.
She's pretty much going through the same s*** as I am, except that she has a job. And she's a few states away. She's coming back home though. We won't work as a couple, ever, but I've always kind of sort of wanted to at least sex her up. Thing is, she's the kind of girl who only wants to do it with someone who really matters (I'm the same way, but we do matter to each other, only in a close friendship way... but I also think we could do this without it really affecting our friendship in any serious way considering what all we've already been through). We're still friends. She calls me like every night just to talk. I absolutely respect our friendship and I always want to continue that as she is one of my best friends. But I think it's possible to have sex while still being friends. Girls have a different mindset. Obviously. I'm not sure exactly what she thinks since I just told her tonight that I had a dream, some of it involving her, and sex. She didn't really make a big deal of it, of course. She expected it of me. But she acknowledges that it's just a dream. And she's never ever been straightforward about this kind of thing. I pretty much just have to take a shot with it. She's always been... vague. About what she wants. I can't always tell. She's a girl. I think in some way I might actually have a shot about convincing her, but at the same time she's strong willed and hard headed so if she really doesn't want it to happen then it won't happen.
Um... I don't know. She comes home on the 10th for a few days, right after my birthday, but I'm not even sure she'll have time for me. Of course we're good friends and she does want to see me. But I doubt she wants to sex.
Oh my god it's been soooo long since I've talked to this board about "girl" stuff. It feels terrible. This is ridiculous. But I'm just a bit drunk and I've taken the time to type all this up so I might as well see what some of you think.

Are you talking about approaching the matter all up-front-like and see if she's into it?
Or are you going to go with some kind of play at getting laid?
Obviously since you were an important couple, at least at the time, there exists the possibility, but from there it depends on her personality and how you intend to approach the matter.
But the thing is she knows as well as I do that we don't work as a couple. However she's going through practically the same s*** as I am. So I think that maybe it's possible to work something out without involving too many emotions that would complicate s***.
In any case, even if it would just work for one night, I think that would be awesome. It's been too long >_>

Aaaaand that is exactly the problem. I know her a lot, by now, but even so I still just can't predict how she will react to either occurrence. I can only predict that she won't want to do it because of my pessimistic nature and her hesitance to "ruin friendship."
So, the most that I can predict, I need to at the very least find a way to convince her that it won't ruin our friendship and that it'll be good for both of us considering what we've gone through in the past few months.
