I picked it up for the PS3 since it's been $20 for a while (I couldn't justify paying $60 for a couple hours of gameplay... but now I'm wondering if it is worth purchasing the Move for. I don't have much of an opinion on motion-controllers... I don't have a Wii, but I don't hate the concept either. I just can't think of any games that I would actually rather play with the Move other than maybe RE5 and Heavy Rain whenever I get around to buying those.

Is the game just as good one a controller?

Best with Kinect, but a controllers fine too a la Rez.

Move sucks in general, so lol. Just use controller imo.

Child of Eden with Kinect is pretty amazing. I've only played it for with Kinect and Xbox controller so I have no idea how it is with the PS3 move. In fact I've never even used the PS3 move because the few people I know with PS3's don't have it. I'm guessing it is a lot like the Wii's control style except with a glowing thing on top. I'd see if you can try it out first before you decide on getting the controllers.

That being said, I don't actually own a kinect myself, but my girlfriend and enough of my friends have it to where I can use theirs and save my game data on the cloud. Maybe you could work out something like that since the game doesn't require long intensive sessions.

If the Move sucks, does the Wii suck? I'm not really seeing the difference between them.

Well I'm reading the reviews for the PS3 version right now and while most say that the experience isn't as immersive as it is with the Kinect, they all say that it is much better with the Move than the standard controller. Thinking about how the game is played, I also feel like it just wouldn't feel right with a controller. Kind of excited to see how it would look with the 3D as well. I don't own a 3DTV as of yet, but it's likely to be what I upgrade to when the time comes.

I haven't played it yet (bought it at Futureshop for $20 as well), but the move is a great controller. It's hard to explain if you don't have the Wii as a reference, but it's... better. More responsive, less frustrating, and more perceptive to small movements. It's comparable to the WM+, though I'd still give the edge to the Move. Unfortunately, not many games support it!

I heard some people say they liked it better with the normal controller than the Kinect. Not sure how the Move compares but I would guess it wouldn't be significantly different.

Yeah, I'm reading that the game is "easier" with a controller and that the later levels are hard to complete using the motion controls for either console. I didn't really buy the game to beat it though, I was mainly looking for a really cool audio-visual experience that I would really when not... sober. Given that, it's entirely possible that I won't actually play the game for weeks, or even months until I can find the right time to... indulge myself.

I'm pretty sure I'll end up going with the Move. It seems like it would just feel like any other game (that looks and sounds amazing) with a controller, while the Move/Kinect would offer a unique experience that I couldn't really find anywhere else.
