Third Round! The field is thinning significantly! Thirty-two of the most prominent Song of Ice and Fire characters are left! Who is the best character GRRM has ever created?! The most votes per round wins and moves on in this bracket style competition. The contest will continue until the most popular character in Westeros is crowned!!!
This contest can be found on 2 different boards, but only one vote per user will be accepted. The two boards are: Books and Literature and Gamefaqs Contests. Any suspicious votes will be discounted. Each character will be supplied with a link to Wiki Song of Ice and Fire that briefly describes them and their accomplishments throughout the series. Theres a lot of characters in this series, my hope is that these links will remind users who did what and when.
If there are any further questions please feel free to ask and I will be happy to answer!!
(1)Tyrion Lannister (meh, tough draw. If this was only based in DwD, though...) (4)Petyr Baelish (Kind of indifferent towards both of them anyway) (3)Sansa Stark (10)Kevan Lannister

Wow. I pretty much like (or appreciate) all the characters left in the tournament. Some of these matches are pretty hard!
(1)Tyrion Lannister - Ramsay is an amazing villain and an absolutely despicable human being that you love to hate, but Tyrion is just too good. A pity, but 3rd round for Ramsay is not too shabby. (4)Petyr Baelish - Goddamn it. This is really hard. I'd take any of the two over all of the other characters in this division save for Tyrion. That said, I think Littlefinger has a bit of an edge. Davos is ludicrously good, believable and sympathetic, but LF is a top 5 character for me, so he edges out the win. Would be fine with Davos winning, though. (3)Sansa Stark - It pains me to vote against Brynden, but as much as I despise Sansa during the first book, she actually grows quite a bit and is a very decent character in her own right. (2)Cersei Lannister - Again: Kevan's awesome and I really like him. That said, Cersei is just a fascinating character - amazing mix of stupidity, paranoia and ruthlessness that just works.
Honestly, aside from Tyrion/Ramsay, I would be fine with any of the other six characters winning. Good matches ITT.

(1)Tyrion Lannister - Tough draw for Ramsay, no question. As Solfadore said, he's a wonderfully despicable villain. But yeah, this is Tyrion frickin' Lannister. (5)Davos Seaworth - Toughest match of the round by a ridiculously long stretch for me. Littlefinger is one of my favourite characters, he's so intriguing, everything he does is just perfect for his character archetype. He starts as a nothing heir, charms Lysa Tully into getting her new husband to give him a position and then immediately his talent takes him through to the King's Council; from there his intrigue skills move him up even further so that, by the end of the fifth book he's Lord of Harrenhal, Lord Protector of the Vale and is fostering what is, as far as he knows, the rightful heir to the North. And he's an absolute creep. You can't help but hate and admire him for the way he's brought himself up from nothing. Davos has also brought himself up from nothing, but where Littlefinger did it all with chicanery, intrigue and backstabbing, Davos has done it with loyalty, honesty and consistency, all the while keeping a very strong sense of right and wrong. All that's taken him from a smuggler to a King's Hand. His lack of presence in the last two books has been a shame, but it hasn't changed my love for him. He is my favourite character, and I know that if he does win this game he'll be fed to Tyrion but if it was up to me he'd win the entire competition. And he's been played brilliantly in the tv series btw. (3)Sansa Stark - Brynden is a fantastic side-character, but he just doesn't matter enough (Although there's definitely time for that to change). Sansa's character growth has been brilliant so far, and when it's finally fully-realised to its conclusion I think people will be a lot kinder to her. (2)Cersei Lannister - Kevan's awesome, but the main reason he's awesome is because he verbally *****-slaps Cersei. Kinda says it all I think. Cersei's borderline-madness is fascinating, simply fascinating.
EDIT: Bolded my choices since it was kinda wall-of-text-y

(1)Tyrion Lannister - Too awesome. (5)Davos Seaworth - Baelish is the worst villain in the entire series. (3)Sansa Stark - The Blackfish doesn't really do enough to get my vote over Sansa. (2)Cersei Lannister - Meh.
