Not using a smartphone and I can't seem to find a way. Ideas?

My volumes go: silence all -> vibrate all -> ringer off - >1 beep -> Level 1 and on

I thought it might be ringer off but that doesn't do it. Alarm is still silent.

Should be an option for it when you set the alarm. Otherwise, probably out of luck.

My phone has a ring setting called "Alarm Only"

It just depends on the phone

Yeah not seeing either of those guess I'm out of luck.

Just sucks when someone texts you way before you want to get up!

Do you have a DS/3DS? If so, why not use that?

There's also some programs out there for computers that can make it act as an alarm clock, but the computer has to be on and using a computer as an alarm clock is awkward. But it can be done!

DS's have alarm clocks?

Does that mean I have to leave it on for 8 hours?

It's been years since I used my DS as an alarm clock, but I remember it working while the DS is in sleep mode (closed but not turned off, the power light should be blinking). You should be able to get to your alarm clock through the menu where you usually would select a game. If you disabled that, I think you hold start while turning it on, but I forget.

My phone's alarm goes off whether my phone is on silent or not. And I can't change it.

Though, I can't think of a reason I'd want to.

Yeah, airplane mode will leave the phone on but disconnect you from all networks, so you can't get calls/texts, so it's functionally the same as if they were silenced.

You could maybe also change your ringtone and text alert sound independently of the alarm sound, and just set them to something very quiet or even just a silent .wav file.
