DigitalIncision 04/17/12 9:42:00 AM #1:	I've been a big fan of the banana stands for storing my headphones, but I've decided to see what all the fuss is about with these hose hooks. I see people talk about how they're great for headphones all the time. So I ordered one. They look great. Pardon the terrible pictures - my current phone is running a custom rom with no camera driver - it's a work in progress. Sure, if you're using $20 headphones. But I've got pairs that range from $60 to $1700 so, ya know. Laying headphones down is not good for them - especially because they can get knocked around, etc. Plus I don't want them scuffed. You should treat them like any other premium electronics, especially if you pay a premium price. Most headphones aren't built to be set down on things like, say, a keyboard or a phone back. Right around 170ish you hit the sweet spot from good sounding to amazing. As for my 1700 pair, it took a lot of things outside of actual money to get them. It was kind of a crowd thing .. many people got together to pay for part of them, and I handled the rest. If I had a ton of money to throw around, oh yeah, but in my current situation, I would not spend that much.
