The Islanders need a goalie and love them some awful contracts!

I'd also throw out Edmonton, Tampa, Chicago (although they probably don't have the cap space) and.... dare I say it... New Jersey.

As for Backstrom, I think that match penalty should have been rescinded, I think he's basically serving someone else's suspension. He has no one to blame but himself for cross-checking a guy in the face after the game was over, but I prefer to see the players decide the games.

Sens are tied though. I agree about Devils and begrudgingly agree about the Hawks. Maybe Penguins if they can actually continue to play hockey. Wings need to lose though.

Eh, I'm not particularly crazy about hockey, but my loyalty has always been with them.

We had a triple A club in town ages ago and so I got taken to a lot of games as a kid. I just don't often sit down and watch NHL games during the regular season.

They had a pretty decent amount of games this year. A lot of times better ones than NBCSN because they don't solely focus on the same six teams like NBC does.

I dunno, I prefer to get my sports news and opinions online or on the radio. TV sports talk is just so... slow.

As for games, I just watch the... game channels, or whatever they're called. Local feeds for out-of-market viewers.
