I go in tomorrow at 1pm for orientation. But she said I needed a Hepatitis A shot. I assumed I had all those shots already, but I don't know. If I do have it, I need some way to find the documentation. If I didn't already get the shot, then I can just walk in to an Urgent Care (like a clinic, I went there a couple times when I didn't have good insurance and they were really good) in the morning and probably just get the shot there.
Aside from that, it seems things are starting to look up now!
From: HanOfTheNekos | #007 Movie theater job is the worst job I've ever had.
This is something I do not like hearing.
It's hard to imagine a job worse than wal-mart but I'm positive they actually exist... s***, I might actually be working at a different wal-mart soon as well. I have an interview with them on Tuesday >_>
Congrats! I never worked for the movie theater, even though I probably could have in high school when I had connections(worked at Target instead, it sucked).
I currently work part-time for the city doing bulk pick up trash, cause it keeps me in shape! I also can find some cool s***, because I live mainly in a college city, and dear God they throw good stuff away when they move out for the summer, or graduation or w.e
Movie theater jobs can be pretty decent. And really most if it with those jobs comes down to who your co-workers are and if they can provide you with enjoyment.

From: Princess Anri | #013 I've had three movie theater jobs.
Two were awesome, one sucked.
Yours will be awesome.
So hey Anri, my beloved, what makes you think my job at this movie theater will be awesome?
I remember your last movie theater job. Didn't seem too bad. I'm trying to follow in your footsteps. However I didn't actually know you had two movie theater jobs before that. Which one sucked?
Had orientation today. Wasn't bad. But I'll be working at the concessions stand only, which I don't care for. I'd rather not work with food. She told us that if they like us we can be cross trained to do other stuff. Which I would prefer. So I just gotta bear with it for now.
My friend worked at a theater for a while, both ripping tickets, cleaning, and also handling projection. Also changing the letters on the sign outside. It sounded like a pretty boring job, but not the worst.
I guess working at the concession stand would be the most work.

Movie Theater work was something I did a lot of when I was younger. I did th food service and ticket sales for a time, then became the Projectionist and that was some of the best low paying wage work I had ever had fun with.
I think I have a good chance of getting out of concessions to other things because the manager we had orientation with admitted to us that most of their employees are terrible.
