I haven't been this happy about a flagrant uncalled penalty since Alfie demolished Darcy Tucker before scoring the game-winning goal in the 2002 playoffs.

My predicted cup final of Preds vs. Rangers is still possible, though the Rangers may screw it up for me.

Kings/Blues will be an interesting series and probably super low scoring.

Kings/Blues might have only one game in their entire series with 4+ goals.

Blues just dismantled the Sharks for most of that series. Sharks couldn't do a damn thing when the Blues were in lockdown mode.

This is a bad matchup for the Kings, because they're playing a team that can match/almost match them defensively but have a better offense overall.


Then again the Blues are a team I don't know *too* much about.

It'd be amusing if the only Top Seed to advance in the East was Florida whom was expected to be the easiest out in the playoffs.

St. Louis is a good pick to make the finals right now. They probably looked the best of any team in round 1.

Thomas hasn't been sharp but I think he'll be sharp game 7 because its Tim Thomas in game 7.

I don't think Ottawa is good enough to handle Boston. I thought the Devils would beat the Panthers in 5 though, so I've never given them credit.

Kings are an effective matchup against the Blues. It could easily go either way. I think it'll be a great series. Both teams are defensive minded with great goal-tending. Both play tight, physical hockey. Gonna be fun!

I'm not sure there could be anything worse than Kings/Blues. Although I admit I haven't watched a Blues game all year and I would have skipped that series regardless of who they played.

The only teams I actually care about are in the East now... lame.

I'm not so sure about this. Statistically based on this year's regular season, yeah, but the Kings haven't been NEARLY as offensively inept in the last couple months. Kings have PLENTY of offensive talent, they just underachieved most of the year.
