From: KJH | #384 Lord Tensai is Sodom from Final Fight.
I like this, let's take it further.
Let's give Natalya a Poison gimmick (I'll take a hot tranny gimmick over a fart gimmick any day), and pair her up with Khali as Hugo. Bring Evan Bourne back with a new Rolento gimmick. Not sure who can be Damnd, but if people get tired of Funkasaurus then maybe Brodus could be Edi E. Anyway have them all form a Mad Gear stable and take over Raw for a while.
Then Cena spends his hiatus growing an incredible manly mustache...
-- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name... But Dauntless Hunter is now MrGreenonion
Jakyl25 posted... TLC buyrates didn't drop any more than the normal 2011 PPV drop, so they know that No Cena doesn't necessarily destroy PPV success. Dunno about ratings.
Man, last night was such a great show to wake up and reminisce about, but Raw can't come fast enough. Where DO they go from here? If Cena is gone, then there's NO ONE left for Punk until you get down to Lord Tensai.
Sure, Brock could DEMAND an undeserved title shot, but I think they're saving that for Summerslam at the earliest.
EDIT: And remember, Over the Limit is just 3 weeks away, so no big buildup. I guess if you're gonna just kill some time with a quick and dirty Punk vs. Tensai stopgap feud, it's good timing.
Sounds like it's time for some kind of multi-man match to me
I guess that's an option. There hasn't been a multi-man world title match that wasn't in some sort of cage or ladder match since Night of Champions 2010.

There's no clear path for him either, now that the Kane feud is over.
They could do Orton vs. Brock to try and have Brock eliminate another contender to "face of WWE," but I doubt it would be happening so soon. I imagine Brock is not on the next PPV.
And there's no chance in hell that Orton wants any part of that "intentionally stiff" craziness.

It's kinda funny going around the internet and seeing reactions to the Brock vs. Cena match (not the booking, but the actual action).
People are STILL NAIVE enough to think that Brock's stiffness was a shoot on his part and not pre-planned, that he legitimately "forgot where MMA ends and pro wrestling begins."
Why are WE one of the only sane bastions of analysis out there?

The real trouble here is that the nice healthy crop of young cocky heel midcarders all just got done jobbing to face midcarders they cant push too much further than they already are.
But they could EASILY chuck all that out the window and have like Miz win a #1 contender's match and do a whole thing where a guy whos been having trouble with SANTINO tries to sell us on his title shot. The only problem is that pretty much turns Miz because who doesnt like an underdog story like that.
Probably the most over person on the roster not currently involved in a title feud is Orton, the most over one thats typically on Raw is R Truth.I think this MIGHT be a good time to turn orton and put him back on raw-- if SD is truly a B show now Sheamus can carry things for a bit longer.
All of this assumes theyre holding off on Tensai for something other than stopgap WWE title feud.
Brock likely doesnt appear on TV til NWO build at the EARLIEST, i agree.

Because REALTY ERA is literally making marks of EVERYONE again by intentionally blurring the work/shoot line without picking up a microphone and shouting about it like they have typically done in the past for this sort of thing. Theyre just letting the audience draw its own conclusions. Its brilliant.

Christian is someone who has a logical beef with Punk, and is someone who was promised ONE. MORE. MATCH if Team Johnny won at WM.
Despite not actually being able to contribute to Team Johnny, I could see Christian loopholing his way into being the Over the Limit challenger to Punk, and then he would just be the "future considerations" for Del Rio's trade.

From: Jakyl25 | #411 Turn Orton as in turn him heel? And then feed him to Punk?
Face Punk vs. Heel Orton would be a GREAT match, but I don't think it helps Punk any. I feel like the marks would still support Randy.
I was thinking the feud might be good for face punk specifically because if you have Orton really treating the marks like crap they might finally start to cheer more for Punk.

I could see that too. I just dont really want to see this issue with Jericho dragged out more because its an angle that's been in the midcard so long I dont think anyone is gonna buy it as a feud that gets the Main Event treatment all of a sudden.

That jezebel!

We have Chris Russo and William Regal tonight. Boooo no Byron. Anyway, Kenneth Cameron comes out to the usual Ascension dealio... as literally the only guy from Ascension who is even bothering with that, despite all the hype. Epico went to WWE at this point. They want to push Raquel Diaz for some reason that I don't understand, which I feel personally would be more effective with her boyz. And Conor O'Brien is, uh... somewhere. I dunno. rofl Calvin Raines is today's fodder. Kenneth Cameron vs Calvin Raines folks. Kenneth Cameron is all kinds of intense now though. He looks generic as hell, but lord did they make him act great. Kenneth wins with a running jawbreaker kind of deal. Not a very good finisher. Even the announcers undersold it. lol
Next up is a tag match between Leo Kruger & Rick Victor vs Mike Dalton & Xavier Woods. Should be a good match. Mike Dalton and Xavier Woods are very entertaining. rofl Chris says that Xavier Woods has been going all over the country giving motivational speeches. I don't know if I believe him. Xavier keeps rolling with dynamic moves though. He has a little dance punch where he spins, does a split, then pops back up with a punch. And then he shouts "GOOD JOB! GOOD JOB!" and does an elbow drop.
Regal: Obviously when you state that Rick Victor and Leo Kruger work well together, it's stating the obvious. They're both very professional. And when you have two men who are professionals like them together, they're obviously going to jail together very, very quickly.
Hah. Regal gives us the reason why people outside of the US are so good at throwing European Uppercuts. Apparently it is because closed fist punches are illegal overseas, so they perfect the use of the European Uppercut instead. Pretty interesting. Woah, Rick Victor actually wins it by hitting Mike Dalton with the Tiger Bomb. I'm impressed. Mostly because they let Rick Victor win the match for them.
Aksana is crying backstage. Leo Kruger walks up and asks what's wrong. Aksana says she can't believe he did this to her. Then Leo says he'll take care of it. And Aksana continues to be bad at everything she does.
So Maxine has a segment with Abraham Washington where she offers to let him be her assistant. He's pissed off at first because he used to be the GM long before Maxine was, but then he agrees. She tells Abe that he'll need to be screened by James Bronson, FCW's new psychologist. Oh lord. He gets real close to Abe while shaking his hand.
Abe: Wow, you a real close talker. ...And let go of my hand, man!
Bronson is the creepiest. Abraham asks if Maxine is sure about him, and she says she's positive. Then Danielle (the ring announcer chick) walks in and says that Maxine has new competition. She's with that incredibly nerdy bastard who I hated when he announced. Maxine blows it off though.
Next up, Byron Saxton introduces Bo Rotundo to the ring. He gives a mediocre promo about how he wants the FCW title. Leo Kruger comes out with Aksana now. Leo is all intense and tells "Bo-Bo" that he will teach him how to treat a lady. Oh god. They break the two up. Yup.

Next is Antonio Cesaro who comes into the ring and grabs a mic. He says he used to like the US because they were a super power. But now when he wants to see a super power, he just has to look in the mirror. Haha, that's a good one. Anyway, it's Antonio Cesaro vs Big E. Langston now. Regal states that Antonio is the only good thing to come from Switzerland. lmao Damn, Antonio is beating down Langston pretty well. I like it. Big E. Langston is finally sucking a bit less because he's acting like Mark Henry. Anyway, Antonio knocks out Langston after holding him in a Cravate and picks up the win.
Next up is Damien Sandow (c) vs Richie Steamboat for the 15 Championship, which means we get another 15 minute ironman match. Damien Sandow asks for a spotlight. He is going to make an example of Richie Steamboat and the entire Steamboat legacy. And then he will cement his spot at the top of FCW, at the top of WWE, and secure a spot in the hall of fame-THANK YOU. He's so awesome on the mic. Just wait until they give him an actual microphone in the ring. You will worship this man, seriously. This match starts off good, and Richi nails the Super Kick at 11 to get the first fall! 0-1. Ahahaha Sandow makes Richie slip under the skirt and pummels the crap out of him. He then hits a catapult to send Richie into the steel steps and the corner post. Then Sandow walks over, says something to Richie, pats him on the cheek, then gets back in the ring. Richie gets counted out and it's 1-1 at 9 minutes. During the last two minutes, Richie Super Kicks Sandow out of the ring! Oh no! They trade rolls ups until Richie gets the pinfall with seconds remaining! NOOOOOOOOOOO! Richie wins. :( 1-2. Richie Steamboat is the new 15 Champion. Boooooo! Great match, but still booooooo!
Highlights:
Leo Kruger & Rick Victor vs Mike Dalton & Xavier Woods -
Damien Sandow vs Richie Steamboat for the 15 Championship -
The tag match was great and had tons of great Xavier Woods action. And then the 15 Championship match was wonderful as well. And it has Damien Sandow in it, so it's practically must see!

I fail to see how a beard and towel/robe would make you not take him seriously. His gimmick is to be a sophisticate, which he does a fine job doing. Damien Sandow is fantastic on the mic, incredible in the ring, and will be one of WWE's best heels when he finally debuts next week.
Like, I can't even fathom how you can't take him seriously just because he has a beard.

Because its not like he comes off looking glamorous or anything like 80s and 90s Flair. He comes off looking like that creepy guy who frequents the sauna at your middle-rate hotel.

From: MrGreenonion | #425 It's not that he has a beard, his beard is too bushy. Makes him look like some kind of crazy mountain man.
Actually yeah. This is a good point. Sophisiticate implies he'd have kempt beard hygiene. This image he gives off is more like...neckbeard. Guy who will pull you over in the supermarket to tell you about his great ides while wearing a bathrobe and slippers in public with his beard that he THINKS looks cool but really makes him look like hes got a few screws loose.

Uh, he's not supposed to come off as glamorous. Just an eccentric sophisticate. I wouldn't say Flair was a sophisticate by any stretch.
I'll just say wait until Friday. You'll see him in all of his glory. Like, if you don't trust me, check out ANY of the FCW clips I have posted with Damien Sandow in them. It's not hard to see he's the best debuting prospect right now. But judging him by his headshot appearance in a few backstage promos isn't really the best way to judge him.

You're welcome. :)

I'm probably giving this more thought than WWE did, but does anyone find it strange that Eve (a heel) screwed over both Beth (a heel) and Nikki Bella (a heel) to give Layla (a face) a title shot?

Well, Eve is now associated with PEOPLE POWER so I think she may have ended up in bizarro jerkbutt tweener land with Big Johnny.

If Punk and Jericho are done the smartest thing to do is just to put Punk against a face opponent for the next PPV. Give them 10 minutes then have Brock come try to kill them. Have the guy Punk is facing try to get in the way of Punk and Lesnar so Lesnar wastes a PPV spot against that guy. Should be ready for summerslam by then, right?

Everything Damien Sandow does on the mic is just brilliant.
The THANK YOU FOR YOUR IRRELEVANT OPINION!
The fact that after he says something that he knows the crowd will boo the f*** out of, he immediately says "THANK YOU!" before they can.
And now he's grown accustomed to saying "SILENCE!" in the middle of his promos without missing a beat if the crowd is booing him.
I mean, look at this guy. He oozes charisma like mad.
He returned to the latest FCW show to do the usual recently debuted WWE star, former FCW star thing and put over new talent. He makes Jason Jordan look like a freaking world champ.

I dunno what Reys status is but building a friendly title match between Rey and Punk only for Brock to murder them during the fight could be something...but I also REALLY hate that you'd be having a non-finish PPV bout.
They have a lot more ready-to-go faces than heels at the moment. R Truth, Kofi. Show, (Rey) and even Brodus Clay and Santino.
As compared to Tensai and I GUESS Miz and Ziggler, who would be hard sells after their recent history.

Actually Great Khali makes the most sense. He has been on tv lately. Him having a title match and then him and Brock going at it could be sloppy but very awesome
