i like how despite there being 6 different dirks, they all feel distinct. which is somewhat easy to do I guess when you are glasses, in another mind, a robot, a dream self, in another universe, and yourself respectively...

But yeah, any dirk but plain dirk is good stuffs.

Definitely liking Aranea more as a character too. Kinda the opposite of dirk now that I think about it. Original Vriska is the best, but anything vriska related is still pretty good.

DD stole Dave's Sburb copies and killed a doomed Dave, and later created Bec. HB didn't really do all too much aside from knocking the WK's scepter from PM and promptly getting killed in two sessions.

HB had SILLY ANTICS with Eggs and Biscuits during Midnight Crew.

DD is just really cool and generally does most of the work. He also told Aradia "Make her pay." I wouldn't go so far to say he's Top 5, but I think he's the best of the Agents/Midnight Crew.

I guess it's time for another unpopular opinion.

CD > SS > DD > HB

I may not remember much about DD, but just from today's panels, he's still better than HB. CD is first because he's so cute and endearing. His little dance when he succeeds, or thinks he succeeds, is the best. Also he has the best hats.

DD is and always has been the best Agent/Midnight Crew member. Don't forget about Droog using forensics to figure out where Trace would show up and filling him full of lead back in the Intermission. That was probably one of his first defining moments.

I just like him for being a calm and competent counterpart to Jack/Spades.

Yeah DD has always been completely awesome but mostly relegated to the sidelines. Good to see him getting some spotlight really.

Also he's killed Dave twice. I wouldn't completely rule out that he might come out on top against Dirk.

I'd rank the agents as Jack/Spades > CD > DD > HB

But it doesn't matter much because the first three are all awesome. DD never did get much screen time, but he is now and I'm enjoying it.

HB has been kinda neglected up to this point though.

I think DD definitely has the tools to beat Dirk. If anything, Dirk will survive due to DD's careless attitude toward it all.

Not saying the ring is good for nothing. Obviously it has some sort of significance if they're going to bother with it (unless Hussie is masterfully trolling us), but we've seen no indication of non-prototyped strength before.

He could. Said universe was quite small relative to him at the time, and the attack he used lacked the greenness quality of his Bec-powered attacks. There's no evidence that Red Miles isn't at maximum power from the beginning.

I mean, why would DD be planning to use the ring as a viable alternative to a freaking huge battle mech if it's not powerful?

That's a possibility. We don't know the specifics of B1 Jack's divergence from "normal" Jacks. But he couldn't do anything like that before getting the ring, so I'd say the evidence still points towards Red Miles being an inherent power of the ring.

EDIT: Though the attack might be called Green Acres or something in B2, considering the green curtains and all.
