The fact that they showed that makes me almost certain that they were trying to reference Zelda by having Iron Man wear a Black Sabbath shirt that has the Triforce symbol on it along with the fact that he makes some probability statements to Pepper.

I can't handle how good it was. I've been looking forward to it for like five years and it actually lived up to my expectations.
This. So happy

They may also reference Chrono Trigger. Iron Man starts talking in Shakespearean language in the forest when he fights Thor, this on top of the fact that the characters have a few combined moves throughout the movie, along with the fact that I think the first combination is technically when he fights Thor and Thor accidently charges up Iron Man with a move that includes electricity, and having someone play Galaga, makes me think this, but I'm not as sure as the Zelda reference, but also, the Zelda reference in itself helps to support this.
I think you're imagining the Chrono Trigger reference. It's just cool super hero combo attacks... .like that Iron Man shooting Cap's Shield to beam those dudes thing may be straight our of Ultimate Alliance.

*Spoilers*
It could be out of Ultimate Alliance or just general super hero team up combos, or I suppose in MvC they team up also and sort of do combo attacks (almost forgot about that). Like I said, I'm not really sure of that, but I figured I throw it out there anyway.
When Stark said that, I had no idea what he was talking about... I thought that was just some insane randomness. I laughed so hard when that scene concluded.
I agree with the other topic posters. this movie vastly exceeded my already stratospheric expectations. Marvel is showing the comics industry just how this type of movie should be done. They're going to get A LOT of my money this weekend, haha.
