Holy cow was that movie epic? Every single scene had something memorable in it. Every single character had at least two or three shining moments (except for probably Maria Hill). It was perfect. It was so much more than I had imagined or anticipated.
And those end scenes? My god.

I randomly saw it with some friends after having a few drinks, good movie. Didn't stick around for the credits even though I knew there was gonna be something. I'll check it out on YouTube later.
The Hulk going ham on Loki cracked me up, and the entire theater I was in.

I am torn about one thing- they apparently cut out a lot of Cap scenes about him coping with the modern world, and in particular, one of him meeting up with an old flame that sounds like it would be really touching. I feel like these scenes would have been really good, but I also feel like they might have been out of place in the movie, and it was already pretty damn long for a superhero action movie. Either way, can't wait to see them on the DVD release.

YESSS! From the mid-setence grab all the way through him just laying there, stunned. Biggest laughs of the night.
Puny god.
Also, we all applauded when Iron Man shot the beam off Cap's shield. I think. That was a big moment, but there was definitely a Cap scene int he middle of the fight that got tons of claps I'm forgetting if it wasn't that part.

There were some pretty fantastic bits throughout. Some personal highlights:
- The whole 12% conversation with Stark, Potts and Coulson. - Captain America not getting a lot of modern day references ('Monkeys?' 'I know that one! I...I get that reference.'). - The old man who finds Banner after falling off the Helicarrier. - Thor accidentally charging Iron Man's suit to 400% capacity. - Coulson finding out what the gun did. - Everything Hulk did.

- Cap handing over the $10 immediately after the helicarrier takes off. - The almost one-track shot (or felt like it) going through every Avenger fighting something (the one that concludes around when Thor jumps on the Chitauri beast) - Stark and Banner talk English - Black Widow's interrogation(s) - Hawkeye's quiver. That blew my mind. As a comic book fan, I completely marked out on how simple and amazing that was. - Everything with Pepper Potts
