My friends are either too poor or have terrible taste in movies and are willing to see Harold and Kumar 3 in theaters but not this.

They just don't want to watch it.
I was feeling bored because I don't do much on my own free time so I decided to go watch it at midnight with a few friends. They invited me to it, anyways, and I ain't gonna refuse because most of my friends hardly have plans to the movies (which means I hardly watch movies). Packed as hell, though. And front seats. Why!!! And watching alone is kinda boring. I mean, yeah, you don't necessarily talk with your friends during the movies (I tend to make some jokes here and there), but still. ... Copied to Clipboard!

The fact that its based on comic book characters is largely irrelevant. as a comic book fan, i have to disagree with that last statement only a movie based on awesome comic book characters can pull of what should be a logistical and financial nightmare for movie studios and execs and do it this good the only other movie crossovers we get are monster mash-ups which never really go past fun schlock without the star power and production values (and the attraction for great writers and directors) comics have been doing crossovers for decades and they've been doing it the best which makes for a great foundation for a movie adaptation! -- all you need ... I don't think people that do that are weird, nor do I judge them, but I personally don't watch movies often or at all and I wouldn't go watch a movie at a theater by myself (basically repeating myself). ...
