The funny thing is so will I. But that resume said October to maybe. Though it could get delayed anyway and then Diablo has no real competition unless something comes out of nowhere. And we know Mass Effect 3 won't get it due to the terrible ending. Xenoblade could be a nominee but it won't win. I also don't think RE6 or ACIII can win either. Maybe Wii U will bring something.

Tomb Raider is confirmed for Q3 2012. The last of Us either Q4 or Q1 of next year.

Assassin's Creed III is coming this year right?

It kinda has to given that the present-day segments are very close to being literally present-day. By the time it comes out, most of the series will be in the past, and there'll only be a month or so before the cataclysm ceases to be a near-future threat and becomes an obviously-survived-recent-past.

It'd really suck if they decided they needed to delay it for a while to make it perfect, but couldn't because of the date. Then again, I guess that's what DLC is for.

Michael Pachter is guessing that Rockstar told Take-Two that GTA V would be ready for an October launch which led Take-Two to push BioShock infinite back. If this is the case then it's a best-case indeed, but I'm slightly skeptical.

They have said that the game is already completely done, and between now and October they will do extra polish, so I'm guessing the chance of delay is extremely small.
