That show was easily the most advertised new sitcom last fall, it got the best lead-in the network could offer, it was one of the first shows to get a full-season pickup... and even though its ratings have stayed weak, even after all that, it's getting a second season. yoshifan823 05/11/12 1:05:00 PM #34:	As someone who realizes that judging shows based on pilots exclusively is pretty dumb (because it is, and in a topic about Parks and Rec of all things, you'd think people would have figured that out), I watched Whitney for a few weeks, and it got better, to the point where I'm genuinely happy that it got renewed. Women watch more and more tv then men, cable and network. There is a reason why the two most popular new shows last fall were Two Broke Girls and New Girl.
