Best PPV ofthe year so far. I was saying this in the chat but I NEEDED that PPV. WWE has been wearing me down and crushing my wrestling fandom for awhile so it was great to have TNA buoy me like that. Not a single match on the card that I wasnt into.
The only problem with the card was match order- Hardy/Anderson and Angle/Styles shouldve been swapped and I cant help but wonder if RVD match was a botchfest or if it was meant to be that way. Also Bobby Roode needs to merely survive Impact to be the longest reigning TNA champion (presumably post NWA split) -- http://img.imgcake.com/nio/81edpngej.png The one and only Underdog Millionaire and UCA CORPORATE Champion ... And about Sacrifice:
There was no Hogan. There was no Bischoff. There was no Bischoff Jr. There was just a bunch of great wrestlers (and Crimson and Rob Terry) going out there and putting on wrestling matches that were all given proper time and minimal creative interference. For a company that says "Wrestling Matters," this is the first time since Destination X last year that they've proven it. Bravo. -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://www.wwe.com/f/styles/photo_large/public/photo/image/2012/04/33_Moscow_04112012jg_02128.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Robbie E "great wrestler" I approve.
No seriously I think it pretty much directly lines up. If TNA just restrains their crap the talent can't help but shine. It's no coincidence that their best Impacts of the year were from Europe where Hogan, Garrett Bischoff, Eric Young, and ODB didn't bother to go. TNA truly is a case of a few bad apples spoiling the bunch now more than ever. It's pretty ridiculous. -- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Interesting question based on some sentiment I've seen out there:
Austin Aries, X-Division Champion. Is he elevating the title and thus the division, or is the belt weighing him down and holding him back? I guess the answer is kinda obvious in that by making him a main eventer, they've practically killed off the division in a way. He did that token defense against Zema Ion last week, but other than that has there actually been an X-Division match period on TV or PPV since the day Bully Ray intervened and inadvertently turned Aries face? -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://www.wwe.com/f/styles/photo_large/public/photo/image/2012/04/33_Moscow_04112012jg_02128.jpg ... I don't know if the belt is actually weighing him down, but he's not helping the division any.

Yeah the real trouble with Aries holding the title is that no one else in the X division is on his level at all. He has no one he can reasonably lose the belt to.
Like at this point it is MORE plausible that he would go over Roode to win the TNA title and then vacate the X division title thn for him to lose a fluke match to say Zema Ion. -- http://img.imgcake.com/nio/81edpngej.png The one and only Underdog Millionaire and UCA CORPORATE Champion ... Dude needs to open the belt up to challengers of all weights again. That'd expand his pool of contenders a lot and I think it'd make the belt look better too.
