I can only hope that going live will make Impact work better. It just feels really sloppy now since they edit it together from multiple tapings and they don't always do a great job of making it seamless. Now that each episode will be one live event, it should flow more smoothly.

Realistic in what sense?

WWE would love to have Angle back as a Jericho-esque part-timer, and he's said himself he wants to wrestle at WM again before he retires, so that's realistic IMO.

They just currently can't come to terms on style and schedule (WWE would want him to work less and take fewer bumps and Kurt clearly doesn't want to), and they PROBABLY can't come to terms on Wellness (or so I would guess).

Also if TNA is in any way successful in making Bobby Roode a star, WWE will be all over that. That's a year or two away though.

Going the other way, I could see Swagger in TNA someday. That's bigger than Kofi right? <__<

He's ALREADY like 20 pounds heavier than he was at the start of the year though.

He'll do it for his country, but I don't think he'll do it for Vince.

I can kinda see how this would play out in Kurt's head:

1.) Get written out of TNA at Bound For Glory.
2.) After a few months off to refresh, show up as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, win.
3.) Challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania XXIX. Lose, shake his hand, disappear.
4.) Reappear in TNA at Slammiversary 2013, re-ignite the old "The next match I lose is my last" angle.
5.) Go on 4 month winning streak, capturing one last World Title along the way.
6.) Lose final match at Bound For Glory 2013, putting someone over on the way out.
7.) WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014 headliner inductee

I only pick Cena for the asymmetry, from Cena's first WWE match shaking hands with Angle to Angle's last WWE match shaking hands with Cena would be pretty cool.

For awhile there, Cena's progress as a wrestler in kayfabe was kinda measured by his annual feud with Angle, from '02-'05.

I wouldn't even say the two hour Raws have been written for two hours a lot of the time, so I don't have faith in them to write a three hour Raw any better. Although it looks like they'll just leave it up to the fans to write the extra content, I guess? Oh boy.

The NXT tapings... I shall tell you who will be debuting on your TV (or internet) and whether or not they will suck!

Bo Dallas (AKA Bo Rotundo): Boring as piss. Expect all of his matches to be getting beat up for the whole thing and getting a surprise spear for the win.

Rick Victor: CANADIAN LIFTER! One of the better guys. He's got tons of potential and is finally starting to gain a personality and uniqueness to him. F***ing Canadian Lifters are the s***.

Briley Pierce: Little Ziggler! He does interviewing. He's much better as a solid character, so we'll see. He's got a lot of work to do, but I like him.

Jason Jordan: Generic, green, and bland.

The Ascension (Conor O'Brien & Kenneth Cameron): Good duo. They have an awesome and dark theme and entrance. They get by on gimmick and personality. They are passable in the ring. Like, their personality and entrance make them for real.

Mike Dalton: Fun cruiserweight. Very solid wrestler.

CJ Parker: Terrible, annoying, and unenjoyable.

Byron Saxton: BEST ON COMMENTARY EVER!

Seth Rollins: What do I need to say about Seth Rollins? Incredible on everything but the mic. But... man. He is bad on the mic.

Jiro: He's generic Japanese. Sakamoto is much better.

Leo Kruger: Bad on the mic, but very solid everywhere else. I'd say he is "above average".

Aiden English: I don't know much about him. He doesn't seem particularly good though.

Richie Steamboat: Great in the ring. One of the best in FCW. However, his mic skills could stand to improve. He's got in-ring charisma.

Dante Dash: Only ever seen him once. His swagger is fabulous and his personality is great. He didn't get much offense in, so I have no idea how he is in the ring.

Sofia Cortez: You know that Isabelle chick from Tough Enough? That's her. She's alright for a Diva. Probably progressing much better than a lot of them.

Paige: She's not tremendous. She's a step above most of the "bad" Divas though. She's kind of scrawny and pale though. Not much for total hotness.

Nick Rogers: JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED! Also, he sucks.

Jake Carter & Corey Graves: Jake Carter is very decent. He's also Vader's son! He's not fat though. Corey Graves is so cool, slimy, and badass. He's also great in the ring and has a badass submission move. Corey Graves is the f***ing man.

Kassius Ohno (AKA Chris Hero): He's honestly not good. He's okay if he's with the right opponent, but his mic skills blow, his gimmick is bad, and he doesn't seem like he's trying too much.

Chris Russo: OH GOD THEY PUT THIS F***ING NERD ON COMMENTARY.

Bray Wyatt: Cool new gimmick for Husky Harris. It's dark and weird. I don't know what to think of it yet.

Actually, I just realized FCW's problems.

They can't make talkers. They have guys who come in already incredibly charismatic and good on the mic, but anyone who sucks on the mic doesn't grow better.

Steamboat was never anything special, and Dusty was great on the mic but LOL at the idea of him teaching someone how to cut a promo.

The only Steve Keirn promos I ever knew of were as Skinner. <_<

Maybe the professors are the problem. Get Mick Foley and Ted DiBiase Sr. down there.

I think I just liked to see what they could do with that level of talent and how it could consistently outpace the main show with half the time, no titles and no blowoff ppvs.

I mean sure the NEW NXT can do that too, but will it be as charming?

I think people are being too closed minded about the reality era. People hear "reality" and think "oh now we can't have clones." On the contrary, I think not only can we still have clones, the reality era can make us start to think the clones are actual clones.

Once Raw goes 3 hours and they move the Superstars tapings entirely to pre-SD, I doubt they'll continue to do the split commentary on there.

Man, Josh went from doing EVERY show to almost getting turfed out. No more NXT, soon no more Superstars, and really he's almost becoming superfluous on SD when Cole's acting reasonable.

Reality Era misses the point. It caters to trying to get back the whole "what is real" thing and makes a lot of internet smarks into marks again, but honestly its just Russo-booking 101 with a little creative control. The tradeoff is all the writing has to be placed into a more plausible box and if possible related to the individual wrestler personally, kinda like the pre-MTV 80s but with less personality.

The answer is and always will be if its on TV its a work, That there are people who dont get that....well frankly its hysterical. Lets at least have awesome and interesting works, shall we?

Or maybe Josh/Stanford will be the full-time Superstars guys and Matt Striker will be on the spring cleaning list, since he's no longer needed for NXT and it's pretty clear he won't be getting regular duty on a main show again anytime soon.

Kinda weird how quickly he fell. He was calling full PPVs as recently as Royal Rumble 2011

Punk's tone suddenly shifts and he gets right in the face of Daniel Bryan's clone. "You're not even Daniel Bryan, though. You're the product of man's greed!
