Every Street Fighter X Tekken tournament stream I've seen has been incredibly boring. Not always a literal jab fest like that video, but even when it isn't, it's still not interesting play. I could just have terrible luck with my streams, but I'm more inclined to believe that's just how it is for the most part.

The latest tournament where Chris G wrecked havoc (Civil War) he actually made the game very exciting to watch with his Xiaoyu and Hwoarang. Magman also had some good stuff with his Hugo and Juri. Jabs are definitely a problem in the game, but I think the biggest issue right now is the way people are playing it. It just seems like so much of the game is being unexplored.
There is the GF for Civil War, lots of good stuff with switch cancel combos/mixups and team synergy.
Edit: whoops, it's Winners Finals, but whatever there is still some good stuff.
The thing with SFxT is that it's pretty fun to actually play. It may not be great to watch, especially with how 'high level' players are playing, but it's nothing like that video online. Are tournaments even allowing gems?
nah, even in high level online replays there's tons of timeouts. and those have gems.
I actually find playing SFxT to be more annoying than watching it. I'm not at the level of a scorned Smash fan with Brawl, but I do think the game is just busted beyond repair.
I'm not saying timeouts don't happen with gems, but it's not as frequent. Also, I see 'high level' mentioned here a lot. SFxT definitely has issues, but the concerns I have for it are independent of how tournament viable it is or isn't. I think they can fix a lot of the problems with the game through an update, but will that make it more 'exciting' to watch at a high level? Maybe, maybe not--but if it makes it fun to play at a lower level, who cares?
Weve been getting several questions, here and elsewhere about the future of on-disc DLC.
We would like to assure you that we have been listening to your comments and as such have begun the process of re-evaluating how such additional game content is delivered in the future. As this process has only just commenced in the past month or so, there will be some titles, where development began some time ago and that are scheduled for release in the coming months, for which we are unable to make changes to the way some of their post release content is delivered.
I wonder what this means
though my jaded sorrowful Capcom fan inside is telling me "it just means it'll still be complete and now you'll have to download it when you pay for it"
