Just not my cup of tea. I can't even think of a specific issue to take with it, I just have no fun with the game. If I'm going to play a 2D Platformer, NSMB, Sonic Generations, and Rayman Origins are actual fun games. Maybe DK64 spoiled me and now I can't go back to crappy 2D DK games.

But that's the thing. I just don't like it. I've tried to like it, I purchased DKCR and repurchased DKC2 to try to enjoy the series and I just can't. I just always get bored before I complete the first world of any game.

which is a fine personal preference, but usually when people say things like the game (and series) is terrible, it's boring, don't buy it, etc, there's something more behind that reasoning. i'm just saying don't be so hyperbolic over something that seemingly leaves you indifferent!

DKCR for $30 sounds like a good deal. Might have to pick it up soon. I wish that Super Mario Galaxy 2 could've been dropped to $30 too, but I guess I can wait longer.
