this is about the most important thing in the world right now
My bro and I are almost done watching FMA: B. I've enjoyed it more this time (loved it the first time still,) probably since I watched it so soon after the manga ended.
Over the summer, I'm going to at least try to CLEAR all of the VNs I've started but not finished, starting with Clannad. I'm a good way into Nagisa's route and then just have AS after that
Looks like I won't be spending too much time on anime in Summer unless I decide to watch a bunch of stuff on Netflix. I started reading Katawa Shoujo recently. I'm on ch.3 of my first route and liking it so far.

This is what swordz says before every season
-- Chrono1219 The beautiful genius who graduated from Harvard as a child and has an IQ of 1.3^googolplex.
Total Eclipse Humanity Is on the Verge of Extinction The Poverty God Is in Your Pants! Girl Paradise (this might be a failure like that anime from the Cromartie author, but his other stuff has been great so far so I have hope) (also not sure about TL here). Heart Connect Enough (k this one's probably wrong) Arve Rezzle
so yeah. gonna be fully caught up this week with this for the modern stuff and can run through the 2 month old stuff along the way after.
Medaka Box OP - HAPPY CRAZY BOX 2/2 split.
HAPPY CRAZY BOX - No. just no. i do not like this song. i have heard it enough times to confirm that i rather hate it and i'm not sure what it is. the voice? the extremely happy tune? the instrumentation? it's not far off from things i've been okay with, or even like. but the way it's done here simply grates my ears to no end and i don't know why. it's a perfect mix of things that are okay individually to become BAD.
actually, correction. the instrumental version sucks too, so it's not just her voice mixing with the song. it's so... generic yet bad that it just comes out terrible and uninspired. even the BRIDGE, the part that should be most unique to pop songs to get an individual hook, is weak. her voice simply lacks the necessary energy and power that other good ones have done (Megumi Hayashibara i'm looking at you), which allows her to fall completely flat on her face in this song. 2.5/10.
approach completion - much better song in all fronts. still not fantastic or something, but it's very passable, listenable, and dare i say, at times enjoyable. 6/10.
Average: 4.25/10
Amnesia OP - CHOIR JAIL 2/2 split. but really more like... 1/1.
CHOIR JAIL - it's catchy, has a solid tune to itself, and gets better as you listen to it. it started off always pretty listenable but after a dozen or so times it got really in my head. no, CHOIR JAIL doesn't make sense. i'm also not sure if she went LONELY TALE or LONELY TAKE and frankly the engrish is bad enough that the latter works. but i like it, because CHOIR JAAAIIIL is strangely... fun to hear screamed. 8/10
Zanzou Mirai - wait didn't i just hear this song. oh wait no, in this case she's screaming ZANZOU _____ and there's more piano and much heavier on electric guitars. while the latter was more pop, this is more rock. and for some reason, more piano. no engrish here, it's all japanese. despite the lack of humor the song actually comes out better this way - it feels like an unfiltered version of the one before. or to be more precise, it feels like it was meant to be this way, if for no other reason that weird music box break. there's a lot more played with here, and the overall product shows a much bigger effort done. CHOIR JAIL is an anime OP. Zanzou Mirai is her song. they're pretty much the same damn piece, but the difference IS notable. this becomes especially clear with the instrumentals of each one. 8.5/10.
8.25/10. but really, the fact that it's the same damn song means the score ain't a good reflection. if it doesn't mind you to get a remix of a song then yeah, go for it.

The King Wang. Listen up Urinal Cake. I already have something that tells me if I'm too drunk when I pee on it: My friends. - Colbert.
Mouretsu Pirates Image Song Single - Black Holy 2/2 split. fairly normal.
Black Holy - if you called this song sailing i'd never know otherwise because it's the only engrish word in this. song? song's ok. 'bbout it. not bad. not that good. mostly there. 5.5/10
Toumei na Yozora ~Mabataku Hoshi no Tsutsumarete~ - long title is long. title has more words than numbers i'd rank this song because really, it's another "s'ok" track. 5.5/10 again. nothing really special but some slight enjoyment. so yeah.
Average: 5.5/10 not the pirates songs you want!
Zombie ED - Koi no Beginner nan desu (T_T) 3/3 split. ambitious one!
Koi no Beginner nan desu (T_T) - yes, the (T_T) is in the title. this is the ED and it's pretty damn good. nice and catchy, me like. it's just got enough pizazz to sound easy and fun start to finish without losing any quality along the way. good song. 7/10.
Zutto - song can be explained with a resounding "meh." 5/10.
Mata Ashita ne II - ...2? there's a 1? finding that too because i really, really dig this song. it's soft, sweet, and d'awww everywhere. it's also the insert song in Zombie too, the one used between GENERIC HUMAN GIRL and our favorite zombie (suck it Rea, you crazy woman). the song can basically be described as a lullaby and it'd be accurate. good song. will listen to regularly. the non-vocal version is also quite sweet. reminds me, there are no instrumentals here that are truly that, background singers are still in 'em. good for karaoke, but yeah, no pure bg music. not that i'm complainin'. 8/10.
Average: 7/10
Gundam Age OP 2 - sharp odd split. 2 songs, a remix of the OP, TV size of OP, then instrumental of OP. second song literally thrown randomly in this thing to be forgotten forever.
sharp # - the # is for knees. the OP's not too shabby. i couldn't get too into it but i didn't ever dislike it either. no real complaints or compliments here. 6/10.
Charon - ....so the track to be forgotten forever is actually better. it's pretty damn catchy and notably more enjoyable to listen to and jam than sharp, so it's too bad the Pokemon title will have to lose out on the joint description in terms of longevity and knowledge. whoops. 7.5/10
sharp # -tofubeats REMIX - just ratin' because it's a remix. screw the tv version and instrumental there. remix here is uh... actually about as good as the original. maybe a bit better? ....yeah. listening to it enough makes it so and that basically confirms the problem with the singer - her voice is best when it's a song that's fun to hear. not looking for much emotional reaction beyond that strange "I really dig this song" as your head bops at work as you hope that nobody is looking (like it is with parrot-pokemon). i mean uh.... 6.5/10. right, that.

The King Wang. Listen up Urinal Cake. I already have something that tells me if I'm too drunk when I pee on it: My friends. - Colbert.
Fate/Zero x Aoi Eir Tribute Album - Prayer 8 tracks, a full album basically. i'm not sure what this has to do with Fate/Zero either. i CAN tell you however that this is a pretty fantastic CD. a lot of different styles in here to play with and they're damned good stuff. i'm not sure i can entirely understand the premise of these songs though. me thinks i'd need to know the lyrics to understand this more.
1. Lament - the intro song and the one that you will warm up to the most. starts well, then the chorus hits and you're pretty much caught. great song. the more i've listened to it the more i've liked it. and with a pair of good headphones on, not even a question that this is one of the best tracks of the 8 in this CD. 9/10.
2. Roses - a bit strange. for the most part, i can't see myself caring a ton for this. despite that, i find myself strangely drawn to it and wanting to hear it occasionally. i think i just really like the strings in it and she's got a good enough voice to make damn near anything work. 7/10
3. Under The Mask - now here's the first real style change. this is totally for Assassin, it has a middle east vibe to it! has dat twang to it. hell i'm pretty sure the Oserian Portal can come out to this song and nobody would bat an eye - they even throw in a flute that sounds like a snake charmer's! initially when i heard this i figured this was just a middle of the road song but listen closely/listen with good headphones and you'll really "get" all the charm in it. a lot of the song is subtle, but flows so damned nicely. 7/10
4. End Of The Earth - totally Rider's theme. and now i am picturing Rider in Akihabara thinking that he would've become literally the biggest and most powerful guy going HEY! HEY! HEY! during concerts, banged every woman in a maid cafe, and the most legendary of all otakus who decides to take over the world through the power of NIPPON LOVE. ...perhaps it's a good thing Rider never got to roam around Japan too much. as for the song, it's hard rock/jpop. only the most manly of men could have this theme. 9.5/10.
5. Lapse From Virtue - i seriously want to know for which servant or what situation in Fate/Zero this is meant for. it can fit so many places. hell the title and organ make me think it's more about Kotomine (or Gilgamesh in turn) than anything else. could also see it refer to Kiritsurugi too (especially with the last episode and next week's). it's got a really nice haunting charm to it to make it slightly scary and the build up from bridge to finale is perfect. that's a pretty common theme with a lot of her songs on this album mind you, but it's a theme that i'm a total sucker for and is flawless here, which is part of the reason why this is my favorite track on this CD and a rare instance of an organ in a song period. let alone one this awesome. 10/10.
6. Fate Into Black - if this isn't a BA SA KA theme i don't know what is. this has nothing i'd consider pop in it and is basically metal. ...which fits him so well conceptually AND is a genre that should be in the Fate games musically, but it's weird hearing it. the finish being that peaceful though is rather weird though. not BAD, just... weird. still, pretty badass track. 8/10
7. Crimson Eyes - Lancer theme judging by the title. also, this could totally fit in a GG/Blazblue game. for a description, it's... basically a passive aggressive song at times. like it's clearly meant to headbang and rock out to, but it's not LOUD enough. controlled aggression? it eventually gets rougher, but up to the last minute it's somehow... rather clean. i like it, but find that unusual, however don't mistake the last minute either - when it gets going it gets going but good. pretty damn good song here. this vs. Fate Into Black? this. it's easier to listen to at random. this is probably the closest attempt to symphonic metal on the album. 8.5/10.
8. MEMORIA orchestra ver. - and now the OP, only with an orchestrated version. i wasn't too big a fan of the OP in the first place, so to me this is kinda 'oh hey this song again.' the orchestrated version is... better i guess. still not really loving it. her voice stands out more, but i much prefer the background in this instance. 7/10.
Album average: 8.25/10 solid numbers. lowest is a 7, highest is a 10. worth a listen to on a few of 'em if you like rock at all, or in Lapse's case, good organs.
tomorrow - Zombie OP Natsuiro Kiseki OP/ED Saki side-A ED Sankarea OP
before the week - another cardfight vanguard OP Fate/Zero ED2 Hyouka OP Accel World OP Queen's Blade Rebellion OP Queen's Blade Rebellion ED Medeka Box ED that basketball anime has oth an OP and an ED to do. Apollon OP.
OSTs and others, later on. though do love Rinne's.

Hagure Yuusha no Estestica and Swort Art Online pushed to July? Damn. Well those are the only two I've decided on so far, though there's some others that looks interesting. I'll look more into it some other time.
Persona OVA, Hyouka OVA and Sankarea OAD. Gotta watch these. New Naruto and Fairy Tail movies I have to watch too.

The only way to live a good life is to act on your emotions
Accel World is teens and tweens beating up manifestations of their emotional trauma and body issues.
Sword Art Online is more like GRIMDARK .hack, except there's more of a focus on action and actual "gameplay" instead of talking all the time and whining how competition and winning is bad. Also unlike a lot of similar stories the bulk of the story starts after everyone's been trapped for nearly two years and thousands have died so there's more emphasis on the consequences and how people have adjusted to it. (though the anime will probably include some of the short stories written later and put it in chronological order)

The only certain death in the universe is Mother Hitton's Littul Kittons. Not changing this line until I beat Seven Heroes (2/24/07)
So Wang lets get this straight. You bought a gundam age album that's didn't have My World on it? How sad for you.....and Mindanao bs that every other age-2 song is on that album except the amazing one.
