- Hanging out in public with a friend who is loud and says stupid things ---> I don't mind as long as other people that I don't know join the conversation (actually happened, I was honestly torn between defending my pal or saying that the lady was right... in the end I said nothing because the situation was just... awkward).

I thought it was loud friend who says stupid things, by which I mean someone who has embarassing positions on some subjects and would speak them out loud.

Sexual tension is just that, nothing in practice... or was that supposed to involve more than that?

But everybody has a loud/stupid friend. It's just a way of life. It shouldn't really bother you because you're not the one saying anything.

Sexual tension with a family member should just flat out be disgusting, whether it goes anywhere or not.

I actually feel this deserves two posts.

Like, the person themself can not be "disgusting" by simply not acting on it. That's cool.

But the very thought of wanting to have sex with your own family should in itself be disgusting. Just like the thought of wanting to kill somebody.

Well I guess you just overblow how "strong" that is.

If it doesn't go anywhere, it's literally something that just doesn't happen and shouldn't really trouble you like, at all. Not gonna spend three days worrying because I happened to think that a cousin could be hot and sexually attractive without anything happening and not wanting anything to happen in practice.

Friends who say stupid stuff can get you into embarassing situations at times.

Well, there's a difference between thinking your cousin is hot and "sexual tension."

Sexual tension implies the desire to actually do it, usually.

So to me, if I realized I wanted to plow my cousin, it'd disturb me.
