I'veplayed some of the original and it was really fun, but I've never owned a Dreamcast. Just now found out it had a DS sequel. Is it any good?

It's a score attack/challenge game with no story (outside of some brief tutorial scenes), like the later Bangai-O Missile Frenzy for the 360.

There's a couple hundred short levels plus a level editor, you pick two weapons before a stage and if you don't die within the first couple seconds of entering a level you try to clear it with as high a score as possible.
