I have backed the O's for far to long. I deserve this run!

Granted last time we were first place going into the all-star break I think we lost something like 25 of the next 30, but we didn't have the smiley bird logo!

I have made a million dollar bet with my buddy that the O's would go .500 or better, for like the last 10 years. Needless to say, I need to start winning soon.

I think this is the year the Orioles finally got over .500. Adam Jones seems to finally be reaching his potential so we have a bonafied star. The pitching should regress, but at this point if we play to preseason expectations the rest of the way, we should still be a .500 team.

If the playoffs started today, the AL playoff teams would be the Orioles, Blue Jays, Rays, Indians, and Rangers.
