I've mostly been listening to and discovering metal in recent months, and I'm tired of it. I want to get back into my preferred genre more, some stuff similar to Third Eye Blind and Incubus, which are my two favorite bands. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Pearl Jam is a band that I never really got into when I was young and they were really popular, I think they're a good starting point for a band for me to get into.<br />

So you like the 90's, eh? Off the top of my head, here's some artists (with recommended albums):
Cake (Fashion Nugget) - You mentioned liking them, so why not give it a shot? Spacehog (Resident Alien) - This seems like a good starting point for 90's glam/alt-rock. Alanis Morissette (Jagged Little Pill) - This is maybe a bit obvious, but a great go-to for alternative music. Fiona Apple (Tidal OR When The Pawn...) - Deviating a bit from what you mentioned, but a vague hunch tells me you'd like it.
Ignoring video game music. Cake already considered. Don't like Alanis Morissette.
Checking out Spacehog a little, listened to their singles from Resident Alien. Really liked In the Meantime, but didn't care for Cruel to be Kind or Space is the Place.

Fiona Apple is pretty good. I remember liking Criminal when it came out but I never got into her. Theory of a Deadman, don't like their sound too much. Mute Math - I said I don't really care for electronic, but I think it blends in well with them, I think they sounded pretty good. I can get more into them.
