there are a bunch of things i vaguely remember being interested in like valkyria chronicles, 3d dot game heroes, etc. but it would take too long to list them all and the list would be incomplete anyway. just throw titles at me (and a brief description if you're feeling generous) and i'll check them out
Persona 3 Portable. Worth it even if you've played P3/FES.
Vesperia isn't out in North America on the PS3. Graces f is an enhanced PS3 port since it was originally on the Wii. I think the f stands for future since it has another story arc after the main game ends.
Yeah the anime is what has me interested in it, but it doesn't exactly give a good indication of what to expect in terms of gameplay. I assume it's supposed to be an RPG, not a bread baking simulator.
Rock Lee I'm going to wait until its over to watch. I just didn't feel like picking it up to replace Bleach.
the other I can add that to my recommendation list if you'd like. Everything I watch that isn't a weekly show that I'm already watching is determined by randomly picking from that list

well i'm getting more at 'why isn't it a weekly show'
it's going to be a long shounen series and it just started so it seems perfect for you
PS3 Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland Catherine SSX Tales of Graces f Valkyria Chronicles
PSP Fate/extra Jeanne d'Arc The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series Valkyria Chronicles II Ys series Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman
That's good enough for now.

I'm not sure what to think about the Atelier games. Iris and Mana Khemia were good but the impression I get is that they're hardly traditional. I did buy one for the DS, Annie IIRC? I should probably actually play it before buying any more from the franchise.

Atelier Rorona/Totori/Meruru are definitely not traditional RPGs and focus more on item crafting than exploration or battles. That being said, Totori is one of the best jRPGs for the PS3, and Rorona isn't that bad either.

For the PSP, you should check out Yggdra Union. It's a great little tactics game that's an honest challenge in this day and age, plus it's unique as far as I'm aware. The PSP version is quite a bit better than the GBA one. Do note that the GBA's difficulty is what hard mode in the PSP version is more or less.

MMBN style fighting game made by me in the link below! http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/games/184947-b8bn
PS3 Valkyria Chronicles as a dozen have said-- I wouldn't recommend VC2 for the PSP though unless you really love the gameplay-- in which case go for it. Bayonetta is probably the second best DMC styled action game out there, behind DMC3 Mass Effect 2/3 would probably appeal to you if you could get access to ME1 somehow (since it's not on PS3)-- they're shooter style games with RPG elements and a decent story/neat setting. Dragon Age Origins is an action RPG. It's uhh "western styled" so it may not appeal to you but I thought it was pretty enjoyable. I guess the same is true for Mass Effect games. Disgaea 4 "maybe" if you liked earlier games in the series. It's basically more of the same, though.
PSP Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together is kinda like FFT with a darker/more political story but a less good battle system. Fate/Extra as half a dozen have said
That's all I can really recommend with your tastes in mind.
