Let's kick this off with the biggest anthem of the year from a man I thought would never have a major hit again, Eric Prydz!



Story Time: Last night, me and a couple friends took Molly and played this song on Youtube Loop 21 times straight. Literally the best do drugs and listen to house music song since Call On Me, Eric Prydz last mega hit.

The single sexiest song of the year. Lana Del Rey brought sexy back and Rhye is making it better.

Lines like "I’m a fool for that shake in your thighs, I’m a fool for the sound in your sighs. I’m a fool for your belly, I’m a fool for your love." are just perfect when they come from a voice this sultry. She has that same sensual, exotic like voice that Sade, one of my favorite artists, has.

Plus she's cool with drunk guys plowing her so that's a plus!

My God. I thought he would hit a slump. I really did. Nostalgia Ultra was like House of Balloons with the bump it gave the Alt R&B Genre and I expected his next round of releases to be Thursday; lesser quality, a bit uncertain of what to do after such a monumental first showing.

Ashtray Wasp by Burial



This.Song.Is.Special. Made more so by the fact that Burial's last few releases had grown, dare I say, stagnant. They had all begun to blend into this repetitive amalgam of trash lids and hollow metal for me. Disappointing since this is the same man who released his self-titled LP and altered the musical landscape.

But then the Kindred EP came out and everyone who listened to it breathed a collective "Whoa". When Burial is on he's just untouchable.
