i'm liking that - i mean, it's not just the experimentation with the style (obviously the show's hallmark since like 8 eps into S1) but the stuff they try to do with the characters... one of my favorites from the first two seasons, which i rarely see getting any discussion, was the way troy's '20th' birthday went.

there's just so many good episodes, it's hard to really get into all of them to the level that they probably deserve

I've noticed that she's been really hot since season 3. I'm not sure if it's because I'm just starting to enjoy her character a lot more or if she actually looks different.

Troy's birthday party is one of my favorite episodes in Community because

A.Troy is my favorite character on the show and I have an unhealthy love for DongLover.

B.It, along with Remedial Chaos Theory, established Troy as the protagonist of the show. The show has been transitioning this way for some time and Season 3 did a good job of capitalizing on it with Troy being the "main character" in the finale getting his own solo story.

C.Episodes outside of school where the group is forced to engage with each other as actual people and not their social personas are always amazing.
