Come to think of it, LA may be the best handheld game period, at least pre-Advance. I can't think of any better off the top of my head--certainly none in the GB/GBC era.

I actually plan on replaying this sometime in the summer. A Link to the Past is the only other game in the series that I have been as drawn into the setting/world
