From: thundersheep | #098 From: Mr Lasastryke | #094 Nah, topics that make people think they can objectively judge art are the worst.
...is anybody in this topic doing this? Everyone is. Unless you don't consider stand-up an art form, which would just be weird. Art is entirely subjective, so, I don't see what your problem is. Just imagine the topic title were something like "Which people who are famous for being funny do you not find funny" and it's fine.
I'm just seeing people who point out which popular comedians they don't like. Nobody has said "Dance Cook is objectively awful."
ITT: People who are famous for being funny, but who actually aren't funny
<_<
It's pretty obvious that the implication is "in your opinion." At least, I assumed it would be. If it helps, that was what I intended it to be understood as.
-- Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances.
Haven't we all grown up enough that we don't need "in your opinion" glaring at us for us to not think of things as fact?
Back on topic, kind of surprised nobody has said Seth McFarline yet. I don't have a problem with him, but considering how many people claim Family Guy is the bane of everything comedic, someone must have this opinion.
From: thundersheep | #106 Which is why these topics are always terrible. this seems like a bit of an overreaction.
I don't know who said Jerry Seinfeld, but holy crap I do not get why everyone loves that show. In fact I'd say that guy is objectively not funny, is not art and is bad at his job.
