Jesus, I mean I can understand that there are comedians that people like and I don't. Maybe I don't find them entertaining, but I could imagine why other people do. But not him. I don't understand in the slightest why he's popular.

I've watched a lot of George Carlin but I never really got him at all. Half the time he's not even trying to be funny. I watched some special last week where he rambled on for half an hour about how America sucks and nobody is free and and the corporations are taking over the country.

Fey? Hilarious

Murphy? Definitely has his moments, even if he has been in a LOT of crappy movies.

Morgan? I'm not a fan myself, but he definitely has an audience and is "funny" even if not to me.

Spade? Awesome and hilarious, especially his older movies.

Silverman? One of the best female comics. Not even arguable.

Cera is pretty good too! He's definitely been typecast though so you have to already kind of like his style of funny.

The thing about Tina Fey is that she's a really mixed bag. She was generally funny on SNL... but the Palin stuff got old really damn fast. She does a great job as a writer for 30 Rock... but after Season 1, Liz Lemon became pretty obnoxious. And then there was that lame "Date Night" movie too. >_>

Overall though, I approve of Fey. She was pure gold on the Weekend Update.

I think I'll go with Jim Parsons, personally. Most people I know think Sheldon is hysterical, but man, I just don't get it.

For me, this actually goes for all stand-up comedians I've seen save for a few exceptions like Eddie Izzard and Mitch Hedberg (though I don't think he's nearly as hilarious as most people). I guess stand-up just isn't my thing. Carlin is a great example of a comedian I've never found funny.

Literally hundreds of people.

We're old and not the target audience of guys like Dane Cook and Adam Sandler anymore. These are kids comedians, right? ...right?

I came to say this guy. Ray William Johnson. Whenever I open my YouTube app on my phone I see that he has featured videos, so I finally watched one this past week. I didn't understand why it had millions of views and wound up looking him up on wikipedia to discover he's the most subscribed person on YouTube. I just don't understand.
