We just saw our first major upset yesterday. "Baelor" choked in a huge way against "Not Fade Away," barely getting 40% of the vote. Considering Game of Thrones has been one of the most frequently discussed TV shows on this site, the result is shocking to say the least. "Wilson's Heart" also managed to win against "Peter"... and today, "House's Head" is competing as well!

-- NOMINATE CRAZY DAVE (PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES) FOR CBIX! This is TheCodeisBosco, needless to say!
To be fair to "Baelor," Buffy and Angel have both gotten a huge bump in popularity recently. I'm following at least four, if not more, watchthrough topics, and there's a Buffy Rewind starting soon though that doesn't much apply here. With the success of Grimm and Whedon's Avengers (As well as Goddard/Whedon's Cabin), Buffy's big right now.
I haven't actually heard much casual chatter over Game of Thrones, but I may be looking in the wrong places. "Baelor" flooded the entire internet last year, but the large gap between seasons (and relatively uneventful second season before Sunday night) might have cost them the nostalgia.

So weve cornered Andy and Kyle in the Swarts stairwell and then this guy comes out of NO WHERE like ****ing Batman or something. ; ExTha is the man

What's weird, though, is that Buffy hasn't been doing nearly as well as I expected in this thing. I mean, the most well-known episode of the show got 61% against a Heroes episode. >_>
Maybe Heroes nostalgia is kicking in or something, but man! I'm still not sure what happened there.
-- Hey, you ever coming back? You kidding? I am Queens Boulevard.
Company Man is well-regarded as probably the best episode of Heroes. It really is a fantastic episode and if this were bigger bracket, I could see myself voting for it for a few rounds even though I hate the show. It's also very well-remembered for its comparisons to Lost when Season 3 at the time was flailing about.
However, I am surprised by OMWF's failure to do better there.

"Because they don't want to reason about what they consider a masterpiece and be hurt when they realize it was all useless." - Umineko on Lost
Also, shame I was out yesterday. "Peter" deserved one more vote and I'm happy to see a Fringe nomination. I didn't have space for one myself but that's a good ep.

True, but... with OMWF being one of the most iconic episodes in the bracket, it really was shocking. It's kind of like if there was a GameFAQs video game contest, and Super Metroid only got 60% on Crash Team Racing, y'know?
