Yes, he's pretty good in the first two movies. I don't really like some of the stuff they did with him in the third, but overall, he's still pretty good.

No. He really didn't feel needed at all after the first movie and the parts of the series that focus on him were my least favorite. I'd rather have more Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush than Orland Bloom in the movies.
