Now instead of getting one two liter, people will have to order a can per person, which will end up costing them more. Businesses get to make more money with hokey tactics and best of all, they're not "the bad guy"

This will cause the price of food at restaurants to rise, as their profit margins from soda sales will decrease.

And the unhealthy people will still take advantage of free refills, since that doesn't seem to be banned.

they aren't banning soda though...banning a product does not create a "boom" in the economy for it as much as move the money from legit companies to the black market.

what they are doing though, you are right, will probably end up just helping sales because people will just buy more to get the same amount.

its still pretty sad to me that so many relatively safe drugs are banned and yet most people see no problem being addicted to terrible food that makes them obese and full of health issues. in both cases the product is fine in moderation.
