Rules and stuff - Voting will last for approx. 24 hours - Don't vote more than once, rally, stuff like that - Try to listen to more than the first 30 seconds of a song before making your choice... some of them only get great after a minute or so!
(1)The Dream That Time Dreams (5)Dilemma (6)Drowned Valley (2)Departed Souls
The 4/5 and 3/6 matchups are between top 10 songs for me.

I still don't get the love for Drowned Valley, at all... especially when Forest of Illusion is so much better?
1 5 3 2
FYI Grape: I was kind of kidding about victory fanfare... kind of... love that fanfare music though!!! My fifth 1 seed would honestly be... toss-up between a lot of different themes. I'd go with Highwind, I guess, but I don't know...
That's what I like about FF7's OST, there aren't obvious great songs and obvious duds (like in CC's, imo), it's all... consistently good.
Well, if you'd like to do an FF7 music contest, GFK, I'm all for that one! I'd like that more than the RBY one, personally.... I just thought others would like the RBY one more. Maybe not.
(1)The Dream That Time Dreams.... my third favorite track. (4)Garden of God (6)Drowned Valley... Martin: Illusion is nice sounding, but I think people are voting for the other because the lightness and marimba beat go so well together, and the flute melody is pure win. And Illusion has almost no melody. (2)Departed Souls.... my fourth favorite track. It's nice to see this shutting out the competition so far this round! Even though its opponent is solid....
Goooooood music today!

"Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those! It could be fun! So... what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think."
Nah, FF7's OST is like... ten times better than RBY's. IMO, of course! I could see a lot of people getting behind the whole RBY train. Not me, but I'd vote a few times. :D
(1) [Oh god, not even remotely close. Just... so... freaking... good. It makes me want to write story after story. I'm almost happy to be in the comments section for that track.]
(5)
(3) [I see Haste_2's point, yeah, but I'm goin' with this one as well.]
Oh hey, after starting the CT tournament, I really should be trying to participate in this one. I just keep forgetting. ><
I can't name or hum a single song from RBY...and I own RBY. I do *not* own FF7, although I do have a copy on permanent loan that I'll probably never finish. Dunno what else you've been discussing in previous topics, but if those are the two leading options, I'd much more readily do FF7. After CT, FF7 would probably be my top choice for a game to pick for this type of tournament.
1, although I'm rather sad to vote against 9 because it's really good. 5, easily 6, in a battle of repetitive songs that are uptempo, yet still bland 10, I had a hard time remembering that these weren't the same song. I swear every one of these matches both songs kinda sound the same somehow.
(1)The Dream That Time Dreams - Time's Dream was my original favorite Chrono Cross song. It's no longer my favorite but it's still up there. Gaea's Navel is also good.
(5)Dilemma - Good stuff.
(6)Drowned Valley - This one's close, but only because both songs are kinda mid-tier on this soundtrack. Not my favorites.
(10)Reminiscing ~ Uneraseable Memory - Good stuff.
