The Cs didn't seem to be a team that went to the FT line much this year.

How much of that is refs and how much of it is playstyle?

largely play-style; in many of the games during the regular season the celtics got to the line if they really wanted to

i'd say the refs favored the home team in the atlanta series (atlanta got some really lucky calls at home, but boston got a few critical ones at home too).

was a weirdly big issue in the philly series - no discrepancy in boston, but in philly the refs were overzealous and too eager to swallow their whistles at all the wrong moments, forcing tremendous turns in momentum (game 4 is the biggest offender)

Hmmm, weren't the Pacers a team that fouled a lot during the regular season too anyway?

Like I'm not saying the Heat don't get help from the refs because they do get a lot, but I'm also wondering if they get a ton of FTs because of the styles matchup they have going against other teams.
