man this game made me feel a little sick

and I would have been sick no matter if that shot went in or not

well, 2-2 is good I guess. great conference finals after a mediocre first two rounds.

idk what you're talking about man, aside from the reffing (ROFL), there was a spectacular offense from boston in the first half and spectacular defense from miami in the second half

Still think Heat win the series but at least it's exciting now.

Anyway, still think Heat v. Spurs finals. Spurs in 5 there IMO.

Well, the officiating was terrible, but that was still a good game to watch. I had assumed Miami would just run them over, but at least this series is going to six. I think Miami will win the next two, with the next game being a blowout.

I think ...4th time ever. So he has one more in his career than Pierce has in the last two weeks.

I mean I think the officiating has been bs too, but Pierce is playing hurt and it follows that he may be compensating for it by making more fouls.

pierce has always fouled a lot and there's a significant gap in athleticism between them

not that the officiating has been great or anything but pierce does foul more than lebron legitimately

both were sketchy calls but i'll be damned if it didn't make for fine drama

1. Wanna know why Lebron doesnt foul out? Because he doesn't foul. He's bigger and more athletic and is the best defensive perimeter player since Pippen---he might be better to be honest. Pierce fouls out in this series because he cant guard Lebron WITHOUT fouling. He can't keep up physically or off the dribble.

Does the league hesitate to call fouls on superstars? Sure, Kobe and Jordan fouling out is a rarity. But it's the same reason quarterbacks can't get touched.

Sports are way more fun when the best players are playing. Wanna know why no one wants to watch the Pacers or the Bengals even though they're great... No superstars.

2. If the Heat lose Spoelstra has to go. Period. This offense is a joke.

3. If the Thunder win tonight, what's going to happen. We all assume the Spurs win tonight but what if they don't. What if Durant's switch flipped and he finally realized no one can guard him on this planet. This game 5 is important for the future of the league. If the Thunder wins they've eliminated the only teams to ever make the Western Finals since 1999.

Aside from themselves, you mean

Still, that's absurd to think. Just...

really

and the Suns never even made it that far back when they were good?

It's not ridiculous when you think about it.

Here's who made the finals in the 80s in the West: the lakers 9 times and Houston once.
Here's who made it in the East: celtics Sixers pistons.

That's the NBA: 5-6 teams per decade. You either have the superstar or you don't.

These conference finals are hilarious becaus of their similarities.

The Spurs/celtics are these veteran teams with great coaches who get alot of open jumpers and run great sets. But when they're not hitting jump shots they look pedestrian

The Thunder/Heat are these super athletic, ultra talented young guys whose offense looks sluggish at times but they can create shots for themselves so it never matters. 2 different philosophies of basketball. So good to watch.

The refs Arent screwing anyone. They're calling the toughest game with the highest levels of quick trigger movements and doing the best they can.

Oklahoma is athletic on both ends and their small lineup prevents spurs open threes.
