Match 22 Results:
(27)Moon beats (6)Mortal Stampede, 12-10
The first match yesterday held no surprises, as The Sacred Promise managed only some limited supported from Board 8 before being crushed on the Other Titles side by Kiri no Pithos, which took the match 15 to 7. However, the second match was anything but normal as Moon, for the second contest in a row, shocked its competitor and managed a huge 12 to 10 upset, this one even greater than the previous one it held in the last contest. Mortal Stampede, a 6-seed, becomes the highest seed to lose in the first round since Dance of the Moon Rabbits, a 3-seed, lost in round one of the first contest to Fishy Aroma.
There's a bunch of late-game songs in today's matches, as Episode 8's Stuffed Animal faces off against Episode 7's l&d-circulation in our first match. In the second, Golden Nocturne, yet another Chiru song will face against the waltz, Black Lilliana.
Since you closed the other topic, I'll say it here: Mortal Stampede is fiery and passionate. You don't need a slow, touching song for it to be emotional.
(19)l&d-circulation (30)Black Lilliana
3 good songs and... Stuffed Animal. Why. Black Lilliana's my favorite here, but I expect it'll get wrecked.

3 good songs and... Stuffed Animal. Why. Black Lilliana's my favorite here, but I expect it'll get wrecked. Victima Propiciatora is fiery and passionate, imo. And I'm quite aware if that. Doesn't change that I think Mortal Stampede is a good but not great song that's somewhat overrated.
>_> A Casual beach party where? Victima Propiciatora is a dangerous, seductive dance number between two lovers at a refined Latino dance club. Very exotic sounding too.
Stuffed Animal is great, believe me. I really do like it a ton and in many other match-ups, I would pick it. But l&d circulation is my kind of song. It's not the conventional kind of stuff you typically hear and the way it unfolds is just delicious.

Yet another difficult match-up. I used to really like Golden Nocturne, particularly when it first came out. It was an awesome orchestral rock song with a kickass guitar solo and just got me fired up. But it just faded in my rankings over time. It doesn't have the same sustainability Black Lilliana, a much older song, has and Black Lilliana still tickles my ears even today. There's just a lot of depth to the song and it really screams UMINEKO when I listen to it.
