No way is this a sweep. Miami started off really good but you could see them run out of steam. 4th quarter was their defensive intensity dropping and the Thunder doing what they've learned how to do, close out a game.

This is the series everyone wanted and Game 1 showed why.

Miami has perhaps been the best team in the playoffs in adapting to their opponents strengths, so I have to assume they do something about the scoring champion getting so many open looks in game 2. LeBron on him all game? I think that'd be one way to combat it.

Tranny, Lebron HAS to. You know he has to. Not for the series, not for the team, but because if he doesn't and they lose that's all they'll talk about. Even if they win they'll knock him for not guarding him, say it tarnishes him somehow.

Lebron has to guard Durant, score 40, grab 12 rebounds, get everyone involved, and close in the 4th. He has to because this is what we expect of him. It's not fair but it's also a sign of how good he is.

The funny thing is people keep talking about a dynasty without realizing that Westbrook Harden Seflosha Ibaka are going to need to get paid soon. The Thunder lucked and drafted well into an elite team but the modern NBA allows 3 stars at max. They're just in that grace period where the salaries match so they get 4 stars and a top tier role player.

I assume you meant Westbrook has already been paid, since he signed the max extension earlier this year (although if he had waited, he could have gotten the Derrick Rose bump)

Thabo is under contract for 2 more years, and Perkins and Collison each have 3 left i think.

This summer we'll have to make the choice on which of Ibaka or Harden to extend, assuming we don't want to go too much over the luxury tax. (which will assuredly happen in a couple years even if we just sign 1)
