I found Seasons consistently more challenging to transverse than Ages. Ages felt very straightforward to me what to do in the overworld. I ran into one small problem late because my short-term memory went out on me, but that was it.

And it has bosses that can actually put a fight, Ages doesn't. It also has the better items, even if its items start weaker.

Seasons has stronger subbosses than the final boss of Ages.

Seasons is significantly better than Ages. If you already own them both, then definitely at least try Seasons.

I had Ages before Seasons and I always preferred Ages. Off my shaky memory, didn't Seasons have that crappy sub-continent or something, I remember not liking having to go to that place. Somebody refresh my memory.

You might be talking about the island in Ages where you temporarily lose your stuff.

He's talking about Subrosia, which is a small but simple place that gets a lot of hate for no real reason given how easy it is to transverse.

Tokay Island in Ages was just annoying busywork more than anything else though.

I don't remember what I didn't like but it sticks in my mind.

The Tokay too.

Both of those races stick in my mind as annoying and awful. Zora and Goron must have joined forces to cleanse the land of Hyrule, Termina, etc.

Genocide against the Tokays would be fine by me

The puzzles are needlessly tedious. Tokay Island was one of the most unpleasant things I've ever had to do in a video game; the forest was also a huge pain. The bosses have been trash so far; the required minigames are also pretty lame. While the seed launcher is neat in theory, the way it's been used so far just flat out sucked. The story so far is somewhat run of the mill, none of the areas are memorable for anything so far. The animal companions would be cooler if I could just use them anywhere but that might come later. As of right now, you could only use them for a few screens.

That is true that Ages gets the Forest and its horrible music/annoying Faeries, then Crescent Island back to back, which is just tons of busywork and makes you wish all the Tokay were dead.

Actually it might get better for you if you go on, you've already gotten past the worst of the game. Dungeon 2-3 of Ages is probably the low point of the entire Oracles series.

By the way the use of the seed launcher will pretty much never improve due to the limitations of the game.

Really all it can do is bounce seeds a bit

you'll get to use one of the animal companions pretty much anywhere you want (with some limitations)

With limitations that expanded half the world

That room is fine and you should have the feather on virtually all game anyway because it the best item

If you don't like that how can you like a Zelda game to begin with.

Ages is the better game, because Ages ws the puzzle game (Quintessential Zelda). Seasons was the more action of the two games, and while still good, is not as good as Ages because of that.

15 is perfectly reasonable

I forgot about the feather/cape. The cape was great, I wore that everywhere.

How could you forget about the best item, period? Its at most times the only item worthy of the second slot, and will generally always be there unless I have to take it off.
