God of War: Chains of Olympus from the God of War Origins Collection COMPLETED.
This one was super simple and only took like 8 hours and 1 playthrough. The only tough part was the final boss since it took me awhile to figure out I had to just run away and parry the whole time and only attack with one charged zeus fist when she was open and then go back to running away. Even the Challenge of Hades mode wasn't hard at all.
Gonna do Ghost of Sparta now for #49 and then voting for #50 will open up. It should last 3-4 weeks for reasons I'll explain in the topic.
no no it's not that. I'm just trying to get to 49 quickly so I can begin voting for #50. Since I'm already a few hours into Ghost of Sparta no reason to stop now.
Plus I've never really bought a game just for the sake of easy trophies and judging from it's reviews it must not be that great!
I actually looked up my time and my gamefile was about 6:43 to complete the game
That doesn't count the Challenge of Hades though, but I think the timer counts even when I have it paused idly so it was probably closer to 6 hours of game time
Chains of Olympus is a pretty short and straight forward game! There aren't even many collectables either. I was told without game overs it could be completed in about 5 hours.
Well yeah, after you've played it a time or two, but first time through blind? How? Damn man, I was complaining about a Max Payne 3 Trophy the last topic and how literally impossible it is, but judging by this, you could do it in five minutes. You are skilled, bro.
I probably spent a couple hours just facing those ****ing "things" that go underground and jump up and slash you in the missionairy position. Those ****ing enemies are by far the most annoying enemies in the entire GoW series and they killed me so much. Especially in that one room where there were like four of them and a few other enemies. It took me like at least an hour to figure out how to kill them. Unless you're using faqs or something, that's impressive. But if I can get Platinums in the GOW origins, then almost anyone can. Gow1 is impossible to me to get platinum, and I haven't really tried with 2. Got 3 though.
are you thinking of the Satyrs? I recall them being a problem in one of the PS2 games, but CoO is pretty much broken thanks to the Fist of Zeus. Literally wrecks every enemy in the game.
and yeah I did GoW1 and GoW2 sometime last year. Still need to do GoW3
and the only help I use for these is a list of missable trophies because I dont' want to have to play through this a second time if I don't have to.
like one of the missable ones in Ghost of Sparta is when you're freeing the Titan in the Caldera there's a QTE minigame to free her where you spin the stick. While you're doing this she's screaming. The trophy asks you to keep her screaming for a full minute by rotating the stick at a pace where you don't fail it, but you don't complete it either
no not the satyrs. Those guys are easy to kill. I'm trying to look up what enemy it is but can't find it. Maybe I'm thinking of GoS. Also I noticed when I clicked on myself from your list, it was outdated. It says my last MP3 trophy was Jun 1, even though I got like seven a couple days ago.
I refreshed my account and still nothing. oh well. Anyways, I nominate Twisted Metal for the next one. Not because i'm a fanboy of the series, but because it's a ****ing hard Platinum. It will take at least 30 days and Twisted difficulty is extremely hard. Plus there are a couple other trophies that are frickin ridiculous. It was my most hyped game since Brawl and I only have like 36 percent of the trophies.
That's a good one. I've wanted that game for a while but it's too expensive for a game I might as well just play my guitar with my awesome book from the 70's that has everything I need. I really should get back into that.

Both of those games sound tough! Twisted Metal because I'm not a fan of car combat games so it would probably be hard for me. Rocksmith because that requires a real guitar right? I can't even play a fake guitar!
I think you could do Twisted Metal. It has a new control scheme and so many people online are new to the series. And 90 percent of them are better than I am, so I'm sure you could do it slightly easily. I would've said the same for God of War (created by the same creator of TM btw) but apparently that's no challenge for you. Please try it. Plus it will finally give me someone on b8 to play against.
**** MGS4 online, I miss MGS3 online. I actually played that for 8 hours straight once. MGS4 online sucks compared. I really wish the MGS collection had MGO like how the upcoming Ratchet collection will have online in the third game.
Also, I love how all my rarest trophies besides one are from Mafia 2. Am I the only person who liked that game? Also Shine, Mafia 2 is an easy platinum. I know because I have it. Any plat I have is really easy. My Hardest Plat was probably Dead Space, but only because of that one ****ing trophy. The rest were easy.

yeah I loved MGS3's online, but MGS4's never really caught my interest
I liked MGS4's online at first, but then it tried to give me an update that was downloaded torrent style for some reason, and I was like "**** that". Never played it since, and now it's gone. sucks.

just played TM online for the first time in like a month. ****. I always used to get top 3 every match. got 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 5th, and 6th. I'm sure you could get first every time.
