I lived in a first-floor apartment in a low-lying area of Hawaii...it was horrible sometimes. One time I was sent from work to the hospital due to a nasty attack from a giant centipede while I was sleep. I smashed it, but the rash was kinda gross. Another time one crawled into my roommate's A/C unit...it was a mess, but a death for one of those disgusting creatures was worth it.

I try to be zen about living creatures, but stuff like mosquitoes, cockroaches, and centipedes are just things I need to kill when I see.

For the record, last I saw it, it was crawling out under my door. I immediately blocked the crack underneath so that it couldn't get back in.
It was someone else's problem, then.

House centipedes are different than regular centipedes. They are small and aren't poisonous.
