I've had my 3DS since about August, and have played/beaten Zelda and Mario Kart. Mario Land looked fun, but not enough for me to want to pick it up, and nothing else (including Kid Icarus) really interests me right now. Is there anything that was maybe announced at E3 that looks to be promising? I'm considering selling it off and maybe picking one up again in the future if something big comes out for it, but right now I just don't see much use for it.
Why would you buy a 3DS in the first place if you didn't have interest in any of the games?
I really did get excited for Zelda, and Mario Kart was fun, but I don't find myself playing them anymore now that I've completed them. It's not a big deal to me to sell it out, I just want to be sure there wasn't some spectacular showing for it at E3..=\
Devil Survivor OC, Kid Icarus, Super Mario 3D land, Tales of the Abyss (if you don't own it for ps2), the numerous games coming out this summer...
Yes, I saw your bit in the first post about not finding SM3DLand not interesting enough to pick up, and having no interest in Kid Icarus. This is only because you haven't TRIED them.

I don't get people who panic in a system after its out for like a year or two. Every system sucks tremendous amounts of ass in its first 2 years. Systems should be given a free pass for like 30 months and then judged on what they have out and to come.
system has long since been purchasable. Kid Icarus, Mario 3D, Mario Kart, Nano Assault, Ace Combat, and Reveliations all make up the new (or might as well be new in Ace Combat's case) game. Overclocked, Tales of the Abyss, and the two N64 upgraded ports also stand out. over next month there's Heroes of Ruin, Rhythm Thief, Theateryhtm, and KH3D. then August has NSMB2. nobody knows September or October yet. there ain't much point to selling it anymore either seeing how you'd, at best, get it for what you bought it for... and before the year's over you can add Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario, Castlevania, probably Fire Emblem, and a slew of others that are for Fall to Winter.
3DS had one of, if not the best first year that any system's ever had, library-wise. >_>;

eshop has some great games. VVVVV, Mighty Switch Force, Mutant Mudds, Pushmo are all great. My best friend has been ranting about some sort of balance game lately, but I haven't checked it out

Kid Icarus is amazing. It definitely shouldn't be counted out.
I'm mostly looking forward to upcoming releases like Kingdom Hearts, Paper Mario, and Fire Emblem. But admittedly the main reason I bought a 3DS wasn't for games that were out now, but for games I knew would eventually be on the system. I loved the DS, so I anticipated a lot of my favorite games and franchises from there to make it to the new system eventually.

Indeed. A used 3DS typically goes for about $120 on ebay, so unless you have the Zelda 25th Anniversary edition you'd be losing $50. And even if you do have the Zelda one, better to hold onto it even if you don't want to use it because the value is just going to go up.
