hahaha Tim that one always slayed me, too. I was like "is Goldberg secretly Jason and he can only walk at the slowest pace possible to make it fair on opponents"

The Greatest Entrance of All TIme:

I don't care if they filtered in the chants. I don't care if the pyro isn't as dangerous as it looks. I don't even care what he did in the ring.

Billd Goldberg had the greatest ring entrance of all time*. Everytime you heard the music and the chants and you saw him breathing smoke and standing in the fireworks you just thought "Oh my God. He's never going to lose. Ever".

*excluding Undertaker Wrestlemania Entrances

Because I'll look a bit silly if I name JR winning a match in OKC as an all time favorite moment........

MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS:

Only 1 man can make me think that any man could win a match, could do such a good job of calling a match that it helps elevates the loser. I don't have the privilege or knowledge of wrestling announcers before JR, but he'll always be the best of all time to me

The evil Mr. McMahon appears 4 years early in Memphis.

One of history's forgotten mindblowing angles--the WWF trying to dominate the USWA.

The Greatest Entrance of All TIme:

Hell. ****ing. Yes.

Back in the day, I always got psyched during Goldberg's entrance, whether he was fighting Hollywood Hogan for the first time, or Jerry Flynn for the 100th time.

Other entrances I enjoyed include...

- Edge after winning the WHC in 2007 (added pyro)
- Any Undertaker entrance at WrestleMania
- HHH's entrances at WM22 and WM27
- Sandman's before he joined WWECW in 2006

And two that were unique, yet not in the same category of awesomeness as those above
- Goldust in widescreen format!
- Glacier's entrance, even if Glacier himself was a joke

I love a good entrance and I think one that's kind of underrated is Punk's at WM28. It didn't change MUCH, but it changed enough for it to be awesome.

Other favourites:

-Ric Flair on his way to the retirement match at WM24 with that amazingly ridiculous robe
-Michaels ziplining in for...the Ironman match?
-Michaels descending from the rafters at WM25
-Kurt Angle at WM22 (where he does his spin thing and the pyro above the ring matches it)

Shane McMahon is God: Part 1:

I think the McMahon Family's on screen work is even better than what they do off it. Nearly every time they dive into an angle it works. And even if it doesn't, Shane/Vince/Stephanie will give it everything they've got.

But NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE gives more than Shane O' Mac. Yes, there's cushioning...but that's still a FIFTY FOOT DROP. Screw Jeff Hardy, Shane McMahon is world's greatest daredevil.

One of my personal favorite moments:

SID OUTSMARTS THE NWO

Ok so I know this angle gets a ton of flak some of it deserved. Right before this, there had been a world title tournament to fill the WCW title that Bret Hart vacated. The final match was Chris Benoit vs. Sid , which Benoit won. Except Benoit left the company the next day because of Kevin Sullivan (woops). So Sid and Nash began a quick and dirty angle to finally crown a champion. Nash was the commissioner at the time and threw every imaginable road block in Sid's way. First he had to qualify by beating the Harris Brothers in a handicap match. Which he did, except he pinned the "wrong" Harris Brother. Then there was another match that I cant remember, but Nash again kept the belt off of Sid via technicality. So finally Nash banned the powerbomb and had it set up so that Nash would win the title if Sid used the powerbomb.

What resulted was this overbooked silliness, which ends with Sid Vicious, in typical Emmy calibur moment, winning this match by ACTING like he was hit with a guitar and was put over as a genius for this moment. This was just a super satisfying moment when I was younger. It had felt like Sid was screwed and I was always a big Sid mark anyhow. To see Sid finally be the one to turn the tables on the NWO and Jarrett's guitar in particular was just so vindicating.

Now now now let's not be hasty here.

Shane has millions of dollars and is set for life if he never laces his boots again.

Jeff Hardy needs to wrestle 200 days a year to keep food on the table.

Yeah Shane has balls but he has a HUGE safety net that most wrestlers don't have.

I'm like the only guy who really resents what Shane McMahon did.

Not so much that he basically stole money from career wrestlers by taking their spot on the card at times (though there's that too) when he was pretty resoundingly mediocre in the ring and could only justify it by turning his matches into a spectacle. He's not the only guy who ever did that, and he was certainly better than a lot of nepotistic wonders.

I more resent him for fostering the reaction Realo exhibits here: "Man forget Jeff Hardy THAT is a leap!" He's raising the bar way way WAY beyond what's reasonable to expect anyone who needs to do this for a career to do and making their work look less spectacular by comparison.

There's a reason hardcore wrestling died. "Can you top this?" eventually found the answer of "....no, no we can't."

Jeff Hardy spends the money made from 150 of those days on drugs.

Also, one overlooked match in Shane McMahon's career is the ambulance match with Kane at Survivor Series 2003. Still not as good as his match with Kurt Angle, or his first match with Kane, but still a pretty solid watch.

Or at least it's tons better than the OTHER ambulance match Kane was in.

I mean, it only lasted a couple weeks, but Punk's revival and match at MitB was one of the most insane periods of time in WWE history. Amazing lead-up, amazing entrance, amazing match, amazing result.

You can b**** about it not leading anywhere, but Christ Almighty this cemented my love for Punk and got me back into wrestling almost full time.

Then again, maybe him taking over would have meant weekly electric genital torture so...

This is like the THIRD time you guys have gone psychic and some how mentioned the next person in my video:

Mick Foley is Goo..Mick Foley is God:

"As God as my Witness he is broken in half"-Jim Ross

Every wrestling fan has seen this match or heard of it. Jakyl's pretty much covered how this match ruined wrestling. Mick's book gave the ins and outs. But for long time wrestling fans, for the guys who remember seeing it live and remember the build up, I would like to wax poetically for a moment.

I spent my childhood terrified of the Undertaker. I mean scared crapless. When his music would hit I just knew someone was going to lose by having their head drilled into the canvas. The man just NEVER lost cleanly. Everyone was always scared to fight him. The first Hell in the Cell was HBK's punishment; that's how the Undertaker was used: this eternal, uncompromisable punishment for wrestling crimes.

Then one day, this guy named Mankind came along. This was before most wrestling fans knew about "Mick Foley" unless you followed ECW or even more diehard, traveled to see the smaller feds. So Mankind pops and he doesn't just fight the Undertaker...he WANTS to fight him. This guy is so crazy that he actively picks a fight with the guy people have spent a decade running from. The guy who beat Giant Gonzalez. The guy who Yokozuna couldn't beat clean. And he wins. I mean he absolutely brutalizes the Undertaker.

So when they announced Hell in the Cell I thought, "wait a minute, this feels like a punishment for the Undertaker. They're trapping him in there with a guy who WANTS to hurt him. With a guy Taker can't scare. With a guy who can withstand more damage than Taker can". Little did I know how right I was.

When they climbed that cage, none of us thought it would go that way. We all thought they would tease it, brawl, and then climb back down. When Undertaker threw him off the edge, J.R had me convinced Mankind was dead. I was sitting there yelling,"THE UNDERTAKER IS FRIGGIN CRAZY I TOLD YOU DAD HE'S A DEMON FROM HELL. IT'S REAAAAL YOU CAN'T FAKE THAT". Even my Dad sat there in shock at what we had seen.

When Mick Foley got off the stretcher and came back to the ring he became immortal in my eyes because of the look on Undertaker's face. Mick Foley had conquered fear itself, had looked in the devil's eyes and made him blink. That was the moment wrestling became more than mindless entertainment for me. I became fascinated with this man who somehow seemed unable to die. A man who had conquered the man I had spent my childhood in terror of.

Then he fell through the roof and died. He had to be dead. There was just no way a man could survive that. My mother who was watching out of macabre curiosity said "HOLY ****". It was the first time I had ever heard her curse before. When the Undertaker came down and started throwing everyone out of the ring I got that same feeling I get when I'm watching a street fight and some guy is getting stomped into oblivion as he lies there unconscious. That feeling that you're about to watch somebody die. I wanted to run in there but I couldn't and I couldn't look away.

But some how Mick Foley got up and fought back. I saw his tooth sticking in his nose. I laughed because I couldn't cry in front of my dad. I saw his shoulder slump and I knew it was dislocated because I suffered a similar injury that same year playing football. And yet Mick kept fighting. He took shots with stairs...kept fighting. He got slammed into a cage, kept fighting. And then came the greatest moment of my life:

I saw the Undertaker bleed. I saw a monster become a man. I saw Mick Foley pull out a bag of thumb tacks that said "There's nothing you can do to hurt me more than I've hurt myself". He gave the Taker the biggest middle finger of all time with that bag. Eventually Mick lost to the Tombstone Piledriver because everyone loses to the Tombstone Piledriver. It's inevitable like morning wood and hangovers. But the Undertaker lost something that day: His Aura of Invulnerability. One man had given his entire life to humanize the Undertaker by dehumanizing himself and it worked.

So thank you Mick Foley. Not just for the stunts, but for giving an abused little boy a reason to conquer his own fears. Foley is God.

To this day I still laugh at just how OVER the Tombstone Piledriver is because of this match. Two consecutive falls from the top of the cage can't put Mick Foley away but the Tombstone Piledriver can one shot him.

1.He has the look. You want to punch Triple HHH in the face. He looks like every elite, rich jackass you've ever met. He's also a jacked 250 monstrosity who looks like he would eat your kids. I legitimately thought he was going to hit Stephanie with a sledgehammer.

2. Triple H's evil charisma is absolutely epic. Look how he grabs the mic and taunts Stephanie with the classic "Your Daddy's right in front of you now" then segues into "your dad does have balls the size of grapefruits he just won't stay down" before hitting him with a pipe and then brings her bloody dad into Stephanie's face.

3.Being is a heel is more than just saying heel things and cheating; you have to wrestle like a cruel, conniving bastard. It just so happens that Triple H does just that. He beats you with a mix of violence and arrogance. His finishing maneuver is called The Pedigree and he places your head right below his dick before slamming your face into the ground.

4.Lastly, Triple H was a Heel for both Smarks and Marks. Marks hated him because he kidnapped Stephanie, stealth married her, and then turned her against her dad. Smarks could hate him because in real life he married the boss's daughter and got himself pushed to the High Heavens. Perfect combination.

This moment was the moment that Blue Blood Hunter Hearst Helmsley finally became HHH for me. This whole storyline just worked PERFECTLY and I think it's one of the best things the WWE has ever done.
